Tables and chairs

A low-poly food-court set: a round, faceted white café table on a chrome pedestal with a black cross foot, and four bistro chairs with chrome legs drawn up around it. Two chairs are in brand pink and blue, two in dark wood.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Tables and chairs for the Shopping Mall kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Shopping Mall kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A bright atrium with shops on two floors. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: white #f4f1ec, glass blue #2e67b8, chrome #cad1d8, accent pink #e085a3, white dark #d7cebc, glass blue dark #1f457a, white light #f9f8f6, glass blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `shopBrands` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Shop brands" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 1.61 m wide × 1.63 m deep × 0.86 m tall to the chair backs. The table top is at 0.75 m and the chair seats at 0.46 m. Origin is at the bottom centre and every foot rests on y = 0. +Y is up and the set's front faces +Z. The exported model has 856 triangles in 13 meshes, one mesh per colour per part, and per chair inside the Chairs part (chair_1 … chair_4 nodes). Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour. The same name can appear on several materials, so recolour by name. All materials are opaque, flat-shaded, roughness 0.95 and metalness 0. Static asset: no animation clip. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. shopBrands (the kit's 'Shop brands') sets the share of chairs with a brand-coloured seat and backrest. Branded chairs alternate pink and blue, and the rest are dark wood. Chair positions carry a small seeded yaw and pull-out so the set does not look stamped out. Chairs keep a minimum spacing so seats never touch at 5–6 chairs. Only the default params were captured by three-check; the param extremes were reasoned through in code but not rendered. The seat front edges tuck under the table top on purpose, and the backrest panels sit 4 mm into the back posts. glb-lint: 0 errors and 3 warnings: material count over the direction's 10 and duplicate materials (from the per-mesh materials), and sibling bounding-box overlap (chairs tucked under the table, the pedestal inside the foot). Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphen in the slug-based ids this library requires; three-check accepts them and all 5 survive the GLB reload.

About the Tables and chairs 3D model

Tables and chairs is a free low-poly 3D model from the Shopping Mall set. It measures 1.6 m × 86 cm × 1.6 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 856 triangles across 13 meshes, with 5 named parts. Download the 62 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Tables and chairs 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 62 KB: 856 triangles, 1,292 vertices and 13 materials, modelled in metres at 1.6 m × 86 cm × 1.6 m.
Can I animate Tables and chairs?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 5 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Tables and chairs 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
