How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Kiosks for the Shopping Mall kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Shopping Mall kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A bright atrium with shops on two floors. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: white #f4f1ec, glass blue #2e67b8, chrome #cad1d8, accent pink #e085a3, white dark #d7cebc, glass blue dark #1f457a, white light #f9f8f6, glass blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `shopBrands` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Shop brands" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 3.0 m long × 1.8 m deep on the plinth, about 3.2 m × 2.0 m across the canopy, 2.74 m tall. The countertop is at 0.95 m. The origin is the bottom centre of the plinth, it rests on y = 0, and the front faces +Z. The staff gap in the counter is at the back (−Z). The GLB has 1,816 triangles in 34 meshes, no textures and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour, and all 12 kit colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on more than one material: recolour by name. The vitrine glass is an opaque flat colour, not a transparent material. shopBrands (the kit's 'Shop brands') colours round(shopBrands × panel count) of the counter fascia panels in pink and glass blue, starting at the front centre and moving outward, then the ends, then the back. It also brands round(shopBrands × 4) canopy sign bands (front, back, right, left), and at 0 it turns the tower header panel neutral. The params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 6 heuristic warnings: material count and duplicate materials (caused by the per-mesh materials), non-indexed merged boxes, deliberate overlaps (glass inside its frame, panels embedded 2 mm), detached parts (fascia, countertop, posts and stool seat rest on parts registered in other groups), and the height compared with the direction's 1 m reference. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. three-check accepts those ids, and all 12 survive the GLB reload.

About the Kiosks 3D model

Kiosks is a free low-poly 3D model from the Shopping Mall set. It measures 3.2 m × 2.7 m × 2.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,816 triangles across 34 meshes, with 12 named parts. Download the 160 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Kiosks 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 160 KB: 1,816 triangles, 5,424 vertices and 34 materials, modelled in metres at 3.2 m × 2.7 m × 2.0 m.
Can I animate Kiosks?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 12 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Kiosks 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
