Revolving door
A low-poly four-wing mall revolving door: glass wings on a chrome centre post turning inside a drum of two curved glass side walls, under a round blue canopy with pink shop-brand bands. It plays a seamless 10-second loop of one full turn of the rotor.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Revolving door for the Shopping Mall kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Shopping Mall kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A bright atrium with shops on two floors. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: white #f4f1ec, glass blue #2e67b8, chrome #cad1d8, accent pink #e085a3, white dark #d7cebc, glass blue dark #1f457a, white light #f9f8f6, glass blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `shopBrands` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Shop brands" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 2.86 m tall to the roof drive housing (2.40 m clear door height), 2.48 m across the canopy, with a 2.44 m floor plate around a 2.2 m inner drum. Origin is the bottom centre of the floor plate, which rests on y = 0, and the entries face ±Z. The GLB holds the rest pose and one baked 10 s clip, 'scene-motion': the rotor turns one whole revolution counter-clockwise seen from above, pivoting exactly on the centre post axis. The floor plate, walls and canopy never move. The model has 2,460 triangles in 20 meshes and no textures. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and all 12 colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can repeat: recolour by name. Both glass materials are 'glass blue light' and alpha-blended: the walls at 30% opacity, the wings at 55% so they read through the walls. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. wingCount 3 widens the side walls to keep the seal. shopBrands (the kit's 'Shop brands') sets how many pink brand bands (1–3) sit on the canopy over each entry, and how wide they are. They are abstract bars, not letters. At 0 the fascia is plain. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 advisory warnings: material count and duplicate materials (from the per-mesh materials), non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, deliberate nesting (the glass sits inside its frames and jambs), and scale (a 2.86 m door against the 1 m reference). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. three-check accepts those ids, and all 7 survive the GLB reload.
About the Revolving door 3D model
Revolving door is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Shopping Mall set. It measures 2.5 m × 2.9 m × 2.5 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,460 triangles across 20 meshes, with 7 named parts and a baked animation (10.0 s). Download the 205 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Revolving door 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 205 KB: 2,460 triangles, 7,380 vertices and 20 materials, modelled in metres at 2.5 m × 2.9 m × 2.5 m.
- Is Revolving door animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (10.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Revolving door 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
