How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

A sturdy woman in her 50s, about 1.60 m tall. Tired but kind expression. Wearing a lilac headscarf, a white tunic with rolled sleeves, soft-blue trousers and plastic sandals. Palette: lilac, white, soft blue. Holding a woven basket of folded white and blue linen in the right hand. Hand-painted style. No text, logos, brand names or lettering anywhere.

Note: 11,812 triangles, 25 bones, no finger bones (the left hand is an open mitten, the right a fist). Greying hair shows under the headscarf (a side-swept fringe, a wisp at the left temple and a low bun under the nape knot) as its own mesh, weighted 100% to mixamorig:Head. The face has painted rose lips, upper lashes and softly arched brows. Lips are painted into the skin area of the atlas; they have no separate material. The basket and its linen are one mesh weighted 100% to mixamorig:RightHand and hang from the fist in T-pose, so they swing rigidly with the hand when an animation lowers the arm. Colour comes from one 2048 px hand-painted atlas (JPEG, embedded) with light and shadow painted in, so it also reads under unlit shaders. Every material slot shares that atlas, so glb-lint flags them as duplicate materials. Bones have identity rest rotations (world-aligned), the library convention. Height is 1.61 m at the crown and 1.62 m to the top of the scarf. No clips are included.

About the Laundry Worker 3D model

Laundry Worker is a free low-poly 3D model from the Trades and services characters set, rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton. It measures 1.8 m × 1.6 m × 34 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 11,812 triangles across 8 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 970 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Laundry Worker 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 970 KB: 11,812 triangles, 7,367 vertices and 8 materials, modelled in metres at 1.8 m × 1.6 m × 34 cm.
Is Laundry Worker animated?
It ships without a baked clip, in its bind pose. It is rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton, so it takes retargeted animation.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Laundry Worker 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
