Florist

A gentle felt-toy florist in a blush-pink hair scarf, a sage-green bib apron over a linen shirt, rolled blue jeans and flat shoes, holding a paper-wrapped bouquet of pink and white flowers in her right hand. Rigged in T-pose on the shared Mixamo-named skeleton.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

A woman in her 30s, average build, about 1.66 m tall. Gentle smile. Wearing a blush-pink hair scarf, a sage-green bib apron over a linen-coloured shirt, rolled blue jeans and flat shoes. Palette: sage green, linen, blush pink. Holding a paper-wrapped bouquet of pink and white flowers in the right hand. Felt toy style. No text, logos, brand names or lettering anywhere.

Note: 14,822 triangles, 1.66 m to the scarf crown (the scarf's bow knot reaches 1.669 m), soles at y = 0, facing +Z. 25 mixamorig bones, no finger bones (felt mitten hands on the Hand bones). Every bone has an identity rest rotation (world-aligned axes), so retarget Mixamo or other clips by bone name with a rest-pose-aware retargeter (Blender, Unity Humanoid, Godot BoneMap, three.js SkeletonUtils.retargetClip) rather than copying raw Mixamo quaternions. Nine skinned meshes share one skeleton (one glTF skin each, same 25 joints). Weights: at most 4 per vertex, normalised, taken from one positional field, so shirt, apron bib, jeans, hair and scarf move with the body under them (rig test: worst layer-to-layer distance change 0.95 cm). The apron skirt hangs free and uses its own left/right thigh split with 35% on Hips, so a raised knee bends it rather than splitting it (worst change against the jeans 1.17 cm in the test pose). The bouquet is a separate mesh weighted 100% to mixamorig:RightHand; its paper cone runs along the fist's grip axis, so with the arms lowered it stands upright in the hand. Button eyes and shirt buttons are rigid. Surfaces: role colours x vertex colours (COLOR_0) x one shared felt colour map, plus a felt fibre normal map; both 512 px textures are drawn in code at build time and embedded, with a soft KHR_materials_sheen on the felt. UVs are a box projection in metres, so the felt tiles evenly but is not unwrapped for repainting. Materials are named by role; the exporter writes one material copy per mesh, so some roles (thread, accent, hair, eyes) appear more than once. In three.js, GLTFLoader strips ':' and '.' from names (mixamorigHips, floristbody). The model root carries part id 'florist'. No text, logos, lights, cameras, ground or animation clips. glb-lint reports 0 errors (verdict UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract is supplied; inventory: 9 skins, 0 clips, 2 textures); its 4 warnings are the soft-clay direction's desk-figurine defaults (5 materials, 0.2 m reference height), which the design plan overrides for a full-size library character.

About the Florist 3D model

Florist is a free clay 3D model from the Trades and services characters set, rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton. It measures 1.7 m × 1.7 m × 51 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 14,822 triangles across 23 meshes, with 9 named parts. Download the 2.0 MB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Florist 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 2.0 MB: 14,822 triangles, 35,179 vertices and 23 materials, modelled in metres at 1.7 m × 1.7 m × 51 cm.
Is Florist animated?
It ships without a baked clip, in its bind pose. It is rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton, so it takes retargeted animation.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Florist 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
