Hairdresser
A slim, chatty cel-shaded hairdresser with a black bob and magenta-dyed fringe, in a black salon tunic with magenta piping, slim trousers and white trainers, with a silver tool pouch on her hip and scissors and a comb in her right hand. Rigged in T-pose on the shared Mixamo-named skeleton.

Note: 21,150 triangles, of which 9,372 are the ink outline: an inverted-hull shell shipped as its own skinned mesh (hairdresser.outline, unlit KHR_materials_unlit ink). It uses the same weights as the surfaces it outlines, so it bends with them. Hide or delete it if your engine draws its own outlines. The 3-step toon ramp is a viewer feature. The GLB carries flat base colours (metalness 0, roughness 1) and no textures. Top of hair at 1.65 m, soles at y = 0, facing +Z. 25 mixamorig bones and no finger bones (mitten left hand, closed right fist). Every bone has an identity rest rotation (world-aligned, the library convention), so retarget Mixamo or other clips by bone name with a rest-pose-aware retargeter (Blender, Unity Humanoid, Godot BoneMap, three.js SkeletonUtils.retargetClip) rather than copying raw Mixamo quaternions. Eight skinned meshes share one skeleton (the exporter writes one glTF skin per mesh, all with the same 25 joints). Each vertex has at most 4 weights, normalised, blended over short bands at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Clothing uses the same weight functions as the body under it, and the tunic skirt blends into the thighs. The face (eyes, brows, open mouth, blush) is decal geometry weighted 100% to mixamorig:Head; there are no blendshapes. The hair is also 100% Head. The scissors and comb are 100% mixamorig:RightHand. The pouch and its tools are 100% mixamorig:Hips, so a strongly raised left thigh can pass into the pouch. In three.js, GLTFLoader strips ':' and '.' from names (mixamorigHips, hairdresserbody). The exporter writes one material copy per mesh, so the GLB lists 21 material entries for 16 roles. glb-lint reports 0 errors; its verdict is 'unverified' only because no requirements contract was supplied. It also gives 4 warnings: material count, duplicate material copies, nested-part overlap, and the toon-cel 0.3 m chibi reference height.
About the Hairdresser 3D model
Hairdresser is a free toon 3D model from the Trades and services characters set, rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton. It measures 1.6 m × 1.6 m × 34 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 21,150 triangles across 21 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 704 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Hairdresser 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 704 KB: 21,150 triangles, 27,832 vertices and 21 materials, modelled in metres at 1.6 m × 1.6 m × 34 cm.
- Is Hairdresser animated?
- It ships without a baked clip, in its bind pose. It is rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton, so it takes retargeted animation.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Hairdresser 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
