How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

A round woman in her 60s, about 1.60 m tall. Warm smile. Wearing a white baker cap, a flour-dusted white apron over a pastel-blue striped dress, and white clogs. Palette: white, pastel blue, wheat. Holding a flat wooden tray of three golden wheat loaves in the right hand. Clay style. No text, logos, brand names or lettering anywhere.

Note: T-pose bind, no animation clips; retarget Mixamo-style clips by rest pose. 25 mixamorig bones (three.js shows them as mixamorigHips etc.); bone frames point +Y at the child joint, spine world-aligned, legs flipped 180° about Z — matching names do not guarantee identical roll to Mixamo's own rig, so retarget rather than copy raw quaternions. No finger bones: clay mitten hands use …Hand alone. The tray and loaves are a separate skinned mesh weighted 100% to mixamorig:RightHand, so they tilt with the hand when the arm moves. The clogs are rigid on …Foot (ToeBase carries no weights). The dress skirt is weighted partly to both UpLeg bones, so big leg raises pull it along; under extreme bends the inner elbow and armpit fold (linear-blend skinning). 9 skinned meshes, 28,616 triangles, 13 glTF materials (the exporter writes one material copy per mesh; 9 roles), three canvas-drawn textures embedded (clay thumbprint normal map, dress stripes, apron flour dust). Matte everywhere: roughness ≥ 0.85, metalness 0. No text, logos or lettering.

About the Baker 3D model

Baker is a free clay 3D model from the Trades and services characters set, rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton. It measures 1.6 m × 1.6 m × 50 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 28,616 triangles across 13 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 1.5 MB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Baker 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 1.5 MB: 28,616 triangles, 20,949 vertices and 13 materials, modelled in metres at 1.6 m × 1.6 m × 50 cm.
Is Baker animated?
It ships without a baked clip, in its bind pose. It is rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton, so it takes retargeted animation.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Baker 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
