Shed
A low-poly timber apex garden shed with wood shiplap walls, white trim and bargeboards, a green Z-braced door, a cross-barred window in each side and a terracotta window box of flowers. It is built at real size (2.4 × 1.8 m walls, 2.6 m to the ridge), ready to drop into a back garden.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Shed for the Garden and Patio kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Garden and Patio kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A back garden through the seasons. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: grass green #3a883a, terracotta #be5937, wood #7d5736, flower pinks #e085a3, grass green dark #235223, terracotta dark #823d26, grass green light #5db15d, terracotta light #d08971, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: the walls are 2.40 m wide × 1.80 m deep with 1.80 m from floor to eaves. The roof overhang makes the whole model about 2.77 × 2.12 m, and it is 2.61 m tall at the ridge cap. The bearers rest on y = 0, the origin is at the bottom centre, and the door gable faces +Z. The GLB has 2,180 triangles in 18 meshes. It is static and carries no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so some names (warm white, soot black, dark wood, grass green) appear more than once; recolour by name. The door is its own node, hinged on its left edge, so you can rotate it about Y in-engine to open it outward. season (the kit's 'Season'; 0 = early spring, 0.5 = high summer, 1 = late autumn) changes the window-box planting: pale buds on light green in spring, full pink and white bloom in summer, sparse terracotta flowers on dark green in autumn. From 0.6 up it also scatters fallen leaves on the roof, as an extra part 'garden-and-patio-shed.leaves' (Fallen leaves). That part is absent at the default and so absent from the GLB. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. The defaults passed three-check, and so did one combined extreme (season 1, door fully open, width 3.0, depth 1.4). glb-lint: 0 errors. Its warnings are expected: the material count and duplicate materials come from the per-mesh export; geometry is non-indexed to keep hard flat facets; sibling overlap is the cladding on the wall body and the panes in their frames; 'detached' flags parts that are fixed to the walls; and the scale warning appears because a shed is taller than the 1 m reference. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids (its regex allows no hyphen); the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 10 ids.
About the Shed 3D model
Shed is a free low-poly 3D model from the Garden and Patio set. It measures 2.8 m × 2.6 m × 2.1 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,180 triangles across 18 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 224 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Shed 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 224 KB: 2,180 triangles, 6,540 vertices and 18 materials, modelled in metres at 2.8 m × 2.6 m × 2.1 m.
- Can I animate Shed?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Shed 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
