How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Loungers for the Garden and Patio kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Garden and Patio kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A back garden through the seasons. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: grass green #3a883a, terracotta #be5937, wood #7d5736, flower pinks #e085a3, grass green dark #235223, terracotta dark #823d26, grass green light #5db15d, terracotta light #d08971, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 1.95 m long (1.8–2.1 m via the length param) and 0.66 m wide over the rails, or 0.77 m across the wheels. The deck is 0.35 m high and the pillow top is 0.88 m with the backrest at its 40° default. The origin is the bottom centre on y = 0. The long axis runs along X, with the head (backrest and wheels) at −X, so the +Z front view shows the side profile. The backrest is a pivot group at its hinge pins (rotate it about Z); it carries the back cushion and pillow as child parts. The prop strut is static, so it does not follow a backrest you re-pose outside the viewer. The GLB has 1,100 triangles in 17 meshes. It is static and carries no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so some names repeat; recolour by name. Only the colours used at the default season are in the GLB. season is the kit's 'Season' (0 = early spring, 0.5 = high summer, 1 = late autumn). It changes the cushion piping colour (light green → warm white → terracotta light) and drops blossom petals (spring) or fallen leaves (autumn) flat on the seat cushion. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Both param extremes pass three-check: (backrest 0, length 1.8, cushion 0.04, season 0) and (backrest 70, length 2.1, cushion 0.1, season 1). glb-lint: 0 errors. Its warnings are expected. Sibling overlap comes from the housed slats, stiles and pads. 'Detached' flags the slats and pillow, which sit on the ledges and cushion. Duplicate materials come from the one-material-per-mesh export. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes.

About the Loungers 3D model

Loungers is a free low-poly 3D model from the Garden and Patio set. It measures 1.9 m × 87 cm × 77 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,100 triangles across 17 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 72 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Loungers 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 72 KB: 1,100 triangles, 2,055 vertices and 17 materials, modelled in metres at 1.9 m × 87 cm × 77 cm.
Can I animate Loungers?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Loungers 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
