Bikes
A low-poly workshop bicycle standing on its kickstand, with a tool-red diamond frame, faceted spoked wheels and a yellow water bottle. One knob rebuilds it as a road bike, a city bike with fenders, rack and lamp, or a mountain bike.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Bikes for the Garage Workshop kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Garage Workshop kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Tools, projects and sawdust. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: concrete grey #757e8a, tool red #c32222, pegboard brown #6b4a2e, yellow #eecd2b, concrete grey dark #525860, tool red dark #821717, concrete grey light #a3a5a8, tool red light #db5757, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `projectType` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Project type" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: about 1.78 m long (fender to fender), 0.64 m wide over the grips and 1.07 m tall at the bars. It has a 1.04 m wheelbase and 0.68 m wheels. The origin is at the bottom centre, the tyres and the kickstand foot rest on y = 0, and the front faces +Z. The drivetrain is on the rider's right (-X). The exported model has 2,660 triangles. three-check reports 2,950, but that figure includes the viewer's ground disc, which is not exported. It is a static asset with no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and 9 of the 12 colours are used at the defaults. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. projectType (kit 'Project type') picks the build. Below 0.33 it is a road bike: drop bars with yellow tape, thin tyres and a black saddle. From 0.33 up to 0.67 it is the default city bike: swept-back bars, brown saddle and grips, fenders, rear rack and a front lamp. From 0.67 up it is a mountain bike: a wide riser bar, fat tyres and a suspension fork. The fender, rack and lamp parts exist only in the city build, so their ids are absent from the road and mountain builds. wheelRadius sets the wheel size, and the frame rides with the axles. saddleHeight raises the seat post. bottle at 0 removes the bottle and cage. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings, including intended overlaps where tubes join and parts flagged as detached because they attach across groups. Its verdict line reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; a copy with the hyphens removed passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 16 survive the GLB reload.
About the Bikes 3D model
Bikes is a free low-poly 3D model from the Garage Workshop set. It measures 64 cm × 1.1 m × 1.8 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,660 triangles across 26 meshes, with 16 named parts. Download the 250 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Bikes 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 250 KB: 2,660 triangles, 6,968 vertices and 26 materials, modelled in metres at 64 cm × 1.1 m × 1.8 m.
- Can I animate Bikes?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 16 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Bikes 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
