Shopfront
A low-poly two-storey patisserie: two glazed display bays of cakes, tarts and loaves either side of a half-glazed door, a chocolate-brown fascia with gold mouldings and a rose-and-white scalloped awning. Above are a cream rendered floor with shuttered windows and flower boxes, a gable roof and an oven-flue chimney.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Shopfront for the Bakery and Patisserie kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Bakery and Patisserie kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Warm ovens and glass counters. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: cream #f1e7d0, pastry gold #d0a225, rose #cc6680, chocolate brown #6b4a2e, cream dark #e0c994, pastry gold dark #8f7019, cream light #fbf9f4, pastry gold light #debd63, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `productRange` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Product range" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 6.4 m wide (x, including the roof verges), 7.0 m deep (z, from the back-door canopy to the sandwich board) and 10.87 m tall to the chimney pot, at default params. The building is 6.0 x 5.0 m with a 4.0 m shop storey and a 2.9 m upper storey. Eaves are at 6.9 m under a 40° gable roof. The display bays project 0.45 m and the awning reaches 1.15 m at 22°. The shopfront faces +Z, the origin is at the bottom centre of the footprint, and the model rests on y = 0. The GLB has 5,112 triangles in 47 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. The model passes three-check at both param extremes: at all minimums it renders about 3.4k triangles, and at all maximums about 8.2k (viewer counts minus the ~290-triangle staging ground). Normals are baked flat (non-indexed). Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour, and all 12 kit colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name repeats: recolour by name. cream light is used only for the translucent display glass. There is no signwriting, text or logo; the blade sign carries a plain gold croissant shape and the sandwich board is blank. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. productRange (the kit's 'Product range') widens the bakes in the windows from bread only (loaves, croissants) at 0 to the full patisserie (tarts, layer cakes, macarons, tiered cupcake stands) at 1. It also raises the share of shelf slots stocked from 35% to 100%, and the stock order is seeded, so it is deterministic. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings: material count, duplicate materials (from the per-mesh materials), unindexed geometry (flat shading on purpose), sibling overlap (trims and bands embedded in walls on purpose) and scale (compared with the direction's 1 m reference). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens this library's slug-based ids need; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 10 survive the GLB reload.
About the Shopfront 3D model
Shopfront is a free low-poly 3D model from the Bakery and Patisserie set. It measures 6.4 m × 11 m × 7.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 5,112 triangles across 47 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 398 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Shopfront 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 398 KB: 5,112 triangles, 15,336 vertices and 47 materials, modelled in metres at 6.4 m × 11 m × 7.0 m.
- Can I animate Shopfront?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Shopfront 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
