Drone
A low-poly blade-inspection quadcopter parked on its skids, with four two-blade props spinning and a camera gimbal sweeping under the nose in a seamless 4-second loop. White hull, panel blue canopy, GPS puck and red/green/white navigation lights.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Drone for the Wind and Solar Farm kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Wind and Solar Farm kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Clean power on open land. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: white #f4f1ec, panel blue #2e67b8, grass green #3a883a, signal red #e90c0c, white dark #d7cebc, panel blue dark #1f457a, white light #f9f8f6, panel blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `windSpeed` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Wind speed" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at the defaults: 1.1 m motor to motor on the diagonal, about 1.2 m across the prop discs, 0.42 m tall to the top of the GPS puck; the skids are 0.52 m long and 0.4 m apart. Units are metres, +Y up, the camera nose faces +Z, and the origin is the bottom centre between the skids, which rest on y = 0. The GLB has 1,788 triangles and carries one 4 s looping clip, 'scene-motion'. In it each prop spins about its motor axle (pivot at the axle top), with diagonal pairs counter-rotating; the gimbal pans ±35° about its swivel under the nose, and the camera nods ±10° about its yoke axle around an 18° downward rest tilt. Skids, hull and arms stay still. Props turn whole turns per loop, so the loop is seamless. The prop speed is stylised for a readable loop (10 turns per 4 s at the default, 150 rpm), far below a real drone's thousands of rpm. windSpeed (the kit's 'Wind speed') sets the prop speed from 6 to 14 turns per loop, as if the drone spools harder to hold station in stronger wind. It changes nothing static. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults, so they take effect only when the viewer rebuilds the scene. propDiameter is capped so neighbouring props never touch at small spans. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour (9 of the 12). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so names repeat; recolour by name. glb-lint reported 0 errors. Its 5 warnings are expected: repeated material names (and so a material count over the direction's default of 10), non-indexed geometry for hard flat facets, intended nesting of the camera in its yoke and the prop blades on their hubs, and a 'scale' heuristic that expects 1 m objects. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes, and three-check and the GLB reload keep all 9 ids.
About the Drone 3D model
Drone is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Wind and Solar Farm set. It measures 1.0 m × 42 cm × 1.2 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,788 triangles across 27 meshes, with 9 named parts and a baked animation (4.0 s). Download the 175 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Drone 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 175 KB: 1,788 triangles, 5,364 vertices and 27 materials, modelled in metres at 1.0 m × 42 cm × 1.2 m.
- Is Drone animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (4.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Drone 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
