Fuel pumps
A low-poly pair of retro roadside fuel pumps on a short kerbed island: round-shouldered cherry-red pumps with chrome-framed dial faces, red-banded lamp globes, hoses looping into side holsters, and mint bollards at each end.

Left rail: colours and the 3 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Fuel pumps for the Roadside Diner kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Roadside Diner kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A lonely stop on a long road. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: chrome #cad1d8, cherry red #c32222, mint #90d5b3, desert tan #bf9769, chrome dark #9eabb7, cherry red dark #821717, chrome light #f7f7f8, cherry red light #db5757, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `era` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Era" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 3.3 m wide (X) × 1.1 m deep (Z) × 2.15 m tall to the top of the globes. Each pump body is about 0.58 m wide, 0.4 m deep and 1.5 m tall on a 0.08 m plinth, standing on a 0.165 m kerbed island. The front faces +Z, the origin is at the bottom centre and the model rests on y = 0 (the island kerb is the only ground contact). The exported model has 1,424 triangles in 21 meshes and is static, with no animation clip. Dials are modelled on the front and back so the pumps read from both drive lanes. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour; 11 of the 12 are used (dark wood is not). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. era (the kit's 'Era') runs from 1940s pumps (0: deep rounded shoulders, big globes, slimmer bodies) to 1960s cabinets (1: near-square shoulders, small globes, wider bodies). pumps sets 1 to 3 pumps; the island and bollards lengthen to fit. bodyHeight sets the cabinet height. Only the default params were rendered and checked; the extremes were checked on paper but not captured. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 heuristic warnings. Two come from the per-mesh materials (material count and duplicates). One flags non-indexed geometry, which is deliberate flat shading. One flags overlaps where trim panels and bands sit on the bodies, which is deliberate nesting. One flags the bollards and nameplates as 'detached': the bollards stand on the island top and the nameplates sit flush on the pump faces. One flags the 2.15 m height against a generic 1 m reference. The verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. With the ids substituted it passes. three-check accepts the real ids, and all 7 survive the GLB reload.
About the Fuel pumps 3D model
Fuel pumps is a free low-poly 3D model from the Roadside Diner set. It measures 3.3 m × 2.1 m × 1.1 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,424 triangles across 21 meshes, with 7 named parts. Download the 118 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Fuel pumps 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 118 KB: 1,424 triangles, 4,272 vertices and 21 materials, modelled in metres at 3.3 m × 2.1 m × 1.1 m.
- Can I animate Fuel pumps?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 7 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Fuel pumps 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
