Stilt houses
A low-poly Mekong-style pair of stilt houses for the River Delta kit: a tin-roofed main house and a palm-thatched annex on one plank platform, raised on dark-wood piles with a wet tide band. Sky-blue doors and shutters, a railed veranda, clay water jars and a ladder down to the water.

Left rail: colours and the 3 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Stilt houses for the River Delta kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the River Delta kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Stilt houses and floating trade. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: muddy brown #43372d, palm green #3a883a, bright boat colours #b39d80, sky blue #2e67b8, muddy brown dark #15120e, palm green dark #235223, muddy brown light #6d5d50, palm green light #5db15d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `waterLevel` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Water level" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 9.51 m wide (X) × 6.22 m deep (Z) × 6.21 m tall at the thatch ridge. The plank platform is 9.2 × 5.2 m, with its top 2.3 m above the riverbed at the default stilt height. The main house is 5.0 × 3.3 m with 2.4 m walls, and the annex is 2.8 × 2.6 m with 2.15 m walls. The 24 pile feet and the ladder foot rest on y = 0, which is the riverbed, not the water surface. The origin is at the bottom centre and the front (doors, veranda, ladder) faces +Z. The GLB has 5,578 triangles in 27 meshes, is static and carries no animation clip. three-check's 5,868-triangle figure includes the viewer's staging ground, which is not exported. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and all 12 colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on several materials; recolour by name. waterLevel (the kit's 'Water level') sets the height of the dark wet tide band on the piles, braces and ladder: 0.15 m at 0, 0.94 m at the default and 0.30 m below the pile tops at 1. Set the kit's water plane to that height. The model has no water surface of its own. stiltHeight raises or lowers the whole house on its piles. roofPitch sets the tin roof slope, and the thatch is always 14° steeper. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. Viewer exposure is 0.8 rather than the direction's 1.05; this does not affect the GLB. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 warnings, all expected: duplicate same-named materials from the per-mesh export; deliberately non-indexed geometry for hard flat facets; nested sibling boxes (trim on walls, planks on the deck); a 'detached' heuristic on the railing, which actually stands on the deck; and a 6.2 m height against the direction's 1 m reference height. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 11 ids.
About the Stilt houses 3D model
Stilt houses is a free low-poly 3D model from the River Delta set. It measures 9.5 m × 6.2 m × 6.2 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 5,578 triangles across 27 meshes, with 11 named parts. Download the 551 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Stilt houses 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 551 KB: 5,578 triangles, 16,734 vertices and 27 materials, modelled in metres at 9.5 m × 6.2 m × 6.2 m.
- Can I animate Stilt houses?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 11 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Stilt houses 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
