Hand cart
A low-poly Japanese two-wheeled hand cart for the Bamboo Forest kit: a weathered plank bed on dark-wood rails and pulling shafts, big spoked wooden wheels, a roped bundle of cut bamboo, two rice sacks and a paper lantern on a bamboo staff. It has a seamless 8 s loop: the wheels turn and the lantern swings.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Hand cart for the Bamboo Forest kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Bamboo Forest kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Tall stalks, mist and stone paths. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: bamboo green #3a883a, mist grey #adadad, stone #9c958b, red accent #c32222, bamboo green dark #235223, mist grey dark #878787, bamboo green light #5db15d, mist grey light #d4d4d4, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `mistDensity` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Mist density" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 2.8 m long (shaft tips to the overhanging culm ends), 1.3 m wide over the wheel hubs, with the plank bed (0.84 m wide, 1.5 m long) at 0.61 m and the lantern staff top at 1.61 m. The wheels are 0.84 m across. The origin is at the bottom centre, the model rests on y = 0 on both iron tyres and both prop legs, and the shafts and pull bar face +Z. The GLB has 3,538 triangles in 30 meshes. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. 11 of the 12 are used; mist grey is not. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on more than one material: recolour by name. The baked clip scene-motion (8 s, seamless) turns both wheels one full forward revolution on the axle and swings the lantern on its hook. The bed, legs, cargo and staff never move, so the wheels spin in place rather than carrying the cart along. The wheels are 16-sided with a vertex at the bottom at t = 0 and every quarter turn. In between, the tyre can lift up to about 8 mm off the ground. The GLB's static node pose is the t = 2 s pose, a quarter turn, because three-check exports after its determinism seek. mistDensity (the kit's 'Mist density') makes the cart look damper: it raises the share of planks in the darker mist grey dark from about 10 % to 60 % and grows 0 to 12 moss tufts on the rails and leg pads. It adds no fog volume. bedLength, wheelRadius and culmCount (0 to 9, stacked 4/3/2) rebuild the cart. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. The viewer runs at exposure 0.66 instead of the direction's 1.05, which does not affect the GLB. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 warnings, all expected: 30 per-mesh materials sharing 11 colour names, duplicate materials, deliberately non-indexed flat-shaded geometry, nested boxes (cross members inside rails, planks on rails), and the rope bands flagged as 'detached' because they wrap the culms in a separate part group. The verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 13 ids. Fix round 1 lowered the viewer exposure, because the stone planks and sacks washed out, and framed the hero closer.
About the Hand cart 3D model
Hand cart is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Bamboo Forest set. It measures 1.3 m × 1.6 m × 2.8 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,538 triangles across 30 meshes, with 13 named parts and a baked animation (8.0 s). Download the 304 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Hand cart 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 304 KB: 3,538 triangles, 10,614 vertices and 30 materials, modelled in metres at 1.3 m × 1.6 m × 2.8 m.
- Is Hand cart animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (8.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Hand cart 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
