Fruit baskets

A low-poly River Delta floating-market fruit stall: a deep woven basket of pomelos, a wide tray on a sky-blue stool heaped with green mangoes and longan bunches, and a small handled basket of green bananas, each lined with banana leaf.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Fruit baskets for the River Delta kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the River Delta kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Stilt houses and floating trade. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: muddy brown #43372d, palm green #3a883a, bright boat colours #b39d80, sky blue #2e67b8, muddy brown dark #15120e, palm green dark #235223, muddy brown light #6d5d50, palm green light #5db15d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `waterLevel` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Water level" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 1.24 m wide (X) × 0.96 m deep (Z) × 0.57 m tall at the top pomelo. The deep basket is 0.5 m across and 0.36 m tall. The tray is 0.56 m across and sits on a 0.26 m stool. The handled basket is 0.33 m across, and its handle rises to 0.37 m. The origin is at the bottom centre, the basket feet and stool legs rest on y = 0 (a boat deck or dock), and the front faces +Z. The GLB has 4,468 triangles in 22 meshes, is static and carries no animation clip. three-check's 4,758-triangle figure includes the viewer's staging ground, which is not exported. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. 8 of the 12 colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on several materials; recolour by name. waterLevel (the kit's 'Water level') sets the height of the damp muddy-brown band at the feet of the two floor baskets and the stool legs: 1.2 cm at 0, 4.7 cm at the default and 8.2 cm at 1. The model has no water surface of its own. fruitHeap sets how high the seeded fruit heaps dome above the rims. basketCount removes the handled basket at 2, and the deep basket as well at 1, leaving the stool and tray; the footprint re-centres each time. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. Fruit is faceted spheres that touch or slightly overlap their neighbours, as a heap would. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 expected warnings: duplicate same-named materials from the per-mesh export, a material count above the direction's 10, deliberately non-indexed geometry for hard flat facets, nested sibling bounds (fruit inside baskets), and a 'detached' heuristic on the linings and mangoes, which rest inside the basket shells. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 10 ids.

About the Fruit baskets 3D model

Fruit baskets is a free low-poly 3D model from the River Delta set. It measures 1.2 m × 57 cm × 96 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 4,468 triangles across 22 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 335 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Fruit baskets 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 335 KB: 4,468 triangles, 13,404 vertices and 22 materials, modelled in metres at 1.2 m × 57 cm × 96 cm.
Can I animate Fruit baskets?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Fruit baskets 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
