Hoes
Low-poly field hoes at the edge of a rice terrace: a wide digging hoe, a narrow grub hoe and a short draw hoe stood blade-up against a rattan-lashed dark-wood tool rail, their iron blades caked with paddy mud, with a rice sheaf hung from the rail end.

Left rail: colours and the 3 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Hoes for the Rice Terraces kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Rice Terraces kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Stepped green hills and small farms. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: rice green #3a883a, water mirror #3997c6, earth brown #6b4a2e, straw #d7c375, rice green dark #235223, water mirror dark #286a8a, rice green light #5db15d, water mirror light #79b5d2, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `growthStageWater` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Growth stage (water" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 1.73 m wide (X) × 0.69 m deep (Z) × 1.38 m tall, up to the hoe heads. The rail is 1.0 m tall with its crossbar at 0.9 m, the handles are 1.4 m long, and the blades are 0.18–0.32 m long. The origin is at the bottom centre, the model rests on y = 0, and the front faces +Z. Each handle butt stands on the ground and its shaft touches the front of the crossbar, with the iron head at the top. The GLB has 936 triangles in 20 meshes (merged per part and colour), flat normals (non-indexed) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour; the water-mirror colours are not used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name can appear on several materials: recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. growthStageWater (the kit's 'Growth stage (water' knob) runs the season. At 0 (planting, flooded paddies) the mud is caked over 62% of each blade and the sheaf is green. At the default 0.5 the mud covers 37%, the honed edge shows and the sheaf has light-green stalks with straw heads. At 1 (harvest) the blades are nearly clean and the sheaf is ripe straw. hoeCount 4 adds a three-tine fork hoe (part rice-terraces-hoes.hoe_fork) that is not in the default GLB. handleLength keeps every handle touching the crossbar. The pale ground disc in the preview is viewer staging only and is not in the GLB. glb-lint reported 0 errors and 4 expected heuristic warnings: material count and duplicate materials (per-mesh materials), unindexed flat-shaded geometry, and sibling overlap (the eye, blade and mud of each hoe share a bounding box). Its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. It was verified PASS on a de-hyphenated copy, and three-check accepts the ids. Fix round 1 stood the hoes blade-up, because blades lying flat on the ground read as tiles; it also drooped the blades and lightened the default mud. Fix round 2 moved the lashings into the rail part (glb-lint had flagged them as detached) and sank the handle tops inside the iron eyes, which removed z-fighting specks in the top view.
About the Hoes 3D model
Hoes is a free low-poly 3D model from the Rice Terraces set. It measures 1.7 m × 1.4 m × 69 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 936 triangles across 20 meshes, with 6 named parts. Download the 84 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Hoes 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 84 KB: 936 triangles, 2,808 vertices and 20 materials, modelled in metres at 1.7 m × 1.4 m × 69 cm.
- Can I animate Hoes?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 6 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Hoes 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
