Ox plough
A low-poly grey water-buffalo ox in a wooden neck yoke, hitched by straw rope traces to a wooden ard plough with an iron share and a tall stilt handle. It carries a seamless 6-second idle loop: the ox nods, flicks its ears, swishes its tail and stamps a front hoof.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Ox plough for the Rice Terraces kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Rice Terraces kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Stepped green hills and small farms. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: rice green #3a883a, water mirror #3997c6, earth brown #6b4a2e, straw #d7c375, rice green dark #235223, water mirror dark #286a8a, rice green light #5db15d, water mirror light #79b5d2, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `growthStageWater` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Growth stage (water" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: a working water-buffalo ox about 1.36 m at the withers (1.47 m to the horn tips) hitched to a wooden ard plough; the whole set is about 1.07 m wide across the horns and 4.0 m long from muzzle to plough handle. Origin at the bottom centre of that footprint, hooves and plough sole rest on y = 0, the ox faces +Z. The GLB has 2,300 triangles in 35 meshes (three-check's figure includes the viewer's staging ground, which is not exported). The baked clip scene-motion (6 s, seamless, every curve periodic in the loop) is an idle between furrows: the head nods and turns on the neck, the ears flick on their hinges, the tail swishes from its root, and the front-right leg stamps on its shoulder, knee and pastern pivots. The ox body, yoke, rope traces, swingletree and plough never move. Rigid transform tracks only: no skinning, no morphs. The GLB's static node transforms are the pose at export (t = 2 s, which is the rest pose for every part except a slight head turn); sample the clip at 0 s for the loop start. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour (5 of the 12 used); the exporter writes one material per mesh, so a name repeats — recolour by name. growthStageWater (the kit's 'Growth stage (water') raises the earth-brown paddy-mud line on the ox's legs and the plough's share, sole and brace from 0.07 m (dry field) to 0.53 m (flooded, up to the belly); 0.30 m at the default. hornSpan changes the horns only, handleHeight the stilt handle only, and tailSwish only the motion. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer; only the defaults were rendered and checked. The rice-green disc in the preview is viewer staging and is not in the GLB. glb-lint: 0 errors; its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract is supplied. Its warnings are expected: duplicate same-named materials (per-mesh export), non-indexed geometry (deliberate hard flat facets), sibling overlaps (muzzle on head, wraps on the swingletree, hitch pin through the beam), and 'detached part' flags on jointed limbs, ears and horns that meet only at their joints. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids (its regex allows no hyphen); the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes, and three-check and the GLB reload keep all 27 ids. Fix rounds: (1) the long, thin head read as an anteater, so it was shortened and deepened with a broad muzzle, the horns flattened into crescents and the legs thickened; (2) the yoke was shortened and the front/top views reframed; (3) the stamping hoof's heel dipped 2 mm below the ground as it lifted, so a pastern pivot now keeps the hoof level near the ground.
About the Ox plough 3D model
Ox plough is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Rice Terraces set. It measures 1.1 m × 1.5 m × 4.1 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,300 triangles across 35 meshes, with 27 named parts and a baked animation (6.0 s). Download the 239 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Ox plough 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 239 KB: 2,300 triangles, 6,900 vertices and 35 materials, modelled in metres at 1.1 m × 1.5 m × 4.1 m.
- Is Ox plough animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (6.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Ox plough 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
