Receptionist
A cheerful chibi receptionist in a teal cardigan, white shirt and black trousers, with a headset and a clipboard in her right hand. She's rigged on the shared Mixamo-named skeleton in T-pose and ready to retarget.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
A woman, late 20s, slim, about 1.65 m tall. Bright smile expression. Wearing: teal cardigan, white shirt, black trousers, headset (plain fabrics, no logos, brand names or readable text). Palette: Teal, white, black. Prop: clipboard, carried naturally and bound to the hand or arm bone that holds it. Chibi style. The rig test is judged by eye from dist/rig-test.png: in the bent pose every limb, sleeve and the prop must stay attached and deform with the body — verify the capture visually before reporting PASS.

Note: 7,802 triangles in 9 skinned meshes (body, face, hair, cardigan, shirt, trousers, shoes, headset, clipboard). Every mesh is bound to one 25-bone mixamorig skeleton: Hips to HeadTop_End, Shoulder to Hand, UpLeg to Toe_End. Bones use the Y-along-bone convention (local +Y points at the child joint, +Z faces forward where possible), so retarget clips by bone name; don't copy raw Mixamo rotations. There are no finger bones: the hands are mittens on mixamorig:LeftHand/RightHand. Bind pose is a T-pose with palms down. Soles sit at y = 0, she faces +Z, and the origin is between her feet. The file has no animation clips. Each vertex has at most 2 influences (≤ 4 allowed), normalised to 1. Short blend bands sit at the shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, ankles and neck. Shoulders and elbows have ball fills, which read as toy ball joints when the arms bend. The clipboard is a separate mesh weighted 100% to mixamorig:RightHand and pinched by its long edge, so it lies flat in the T-pose and hangs beside the leg when the arm drops. Head, hair, painted face and headset are 100% mixamorig:Head. Colours are flat materials named by role, plus soft vertex-colour gradients. The face, headset and clipboard carry their colours in vertex colours over a white base (COLOR_0). There are no textures. Height is 1.647 m including the headset band. Rig test (arms down 70°, forearms bent 90°, left thigh forward 45°, Spine1 twisted 20°): max edge stretch is 2.16× at the back of the elbow, and the front of the hip crease compresses to 0.14×, which is normal for linear-blend skinning.
About the Receptionist 3D model
Receptionist is a free toy-style 3D model from the City and office characters set, rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton. It measures 1.3 m × 1.6 m × 57 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 7,802 triangles across 9 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 362 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Receptionist 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 362 KB: 7,802 triangles, 4,746 vertices and 9 materials, modelled in metres at 1.3 m × 1.6 m × 57 cm.
- Is Receptionist animated?
- It ships without a baked clip, in its bind pose. It is rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton, so it takes retargeted animation.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Receptionist 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
