Lawyer

A tall, composed lawyer in her 40s, built as a folded-card papercraft figure: black trouser suit with peaked lapels, white shirt collar, hair in a tight bun, black stiletto pumps and a leather briefcase with a burgundy folder in her right hand. Rigged in T-pose on the shared Mixamo-named skeleton.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

A woman, 40s, tall, about 1.73 m tall. Stern, composed expression. Wearing: black suit, white collar, hair in a tight bun, heels (plain fabrics, no logos, brand names or readable text). Palette: Black, white, burgundy folder. Prop: leather briefcase, carried naturally and bound to the hand or arm bone that holds it. Papercraft style. The rig test is judged by eye from dist/rig-test.png: in the bent pose every limb, sleeve and the prop must stay attached and deform with the body — verify the capture visually before reporting PASS.

Note: 2,263 triangles; 25 mixamorig bones (Hips to HeadTop_End, Shoulder to Hand, UpLeg to Toe_End); no finger bones, the hands are block mittens and the right hand is a closed fist. T-pose bind, soles at y = 0 (stiletto tips and balls of the feet), facing +Z; bone local +Y points down each bone; the ankles sit higher than on a flat-footed character because she stands in heels. Every mesh is a SkinnedMesh on one shared skeleton (the exporter writes one skin entry per mesh, all on the same 25 joints), at most 4 weights per vertex, normalised. The briefcase (lawyer.prop) is a separate skinned mesh weighted 100% to mixamorig:RightHand; in the T-pose it extends outward along the arm so it hangs below the hand when a clip lowers the arm. The jacket skirt is partly weighted to the thighs (more at the front) so raised knees lift it rather than pierce it; the underarm folds inward when the arms drop, as with any linear-blend rig. No animation clips. Flat-shaded geometry with split normals; per-panel card tint is stored as vertex colour (COLOR_0) multiplying the base colour, and engines that ignore vertex colours show flat role colours. Materials are matte, double-sided, metalness 0, and named by role; the exporter writes one material copy per mesh (19 entries for 10 roles). glb-lint: 0 errors, 4 warnings (material count and duplicates from those per-mesh copies, nested-part overlap, and a scale heuristic tuned to small papercraft props).

About the Lawyer 3D model

Lawyer is a free papercraft 3D model from the City and office characters set, rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton. It measures 2.0 m × 1.7 m × 43 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,263 triangles across 19 meshes, with 9 named parts. Download the 400 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Lawyer 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 400 KB: 2,263 triangles, 11,959 vertices and 19 materials, modelled in metres at 2.0 m × 1.7 m × 43 cm.
Is Lawyer animated?
It ships without a baked clip, in its bind pose. It is rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton, so it takes retargeted animation.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Lawyer 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
