Window Cleaner
A calm, athletic window cleaner in his 40s built from voxel cubes: sky-blue overalls, orange safety harness, cap and rubber boots, with a squeegee in his right hand and a bucket hooked to his belt. Rigged on the library's shared Mixamo skeleton in T-pose.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
A man, 40s, athletic, about 1.78 m tall. Calm, concentrating expression. Wearing: blue overalls, safety harness, cap, rubber boots (plain fabrics, no logos, brand names or readable text). Palette: Sky blue, orange harness. Prop: squeegee and bucket, carried naturally and bound to the hand or arm bone that holds it. Voxel style. The rig test is judged by eye from dist/rig-test.png: in the bent pose every limb, sleeve and the prop must stay attached and deform with the body — verify the capture visually before reporting PASS.

Note: Static T-pose bind with no animation clips. 25 mixamorig bones (Hips, Spine, Spine1, Spine2, Neck, Head, HeadTop_End, Shoulder/Arm/ForeArm/Hand and UpLeg/Leg/Foot/ToeBase/Toe_End on each side). No finger bones: the hands are voxel blocks driven by mixamorig:LeftHand/RightHand only. Each bone's local +Y points along the bone toward its child. Eight skinned meshes share one skeleton; the measured maximum is 3 influences per vertex. The squeegee is weighted 100% to mixamorig:RightHand. The bucket hangs from the belt on the left hip and is weighted 100% to mixamorig:Hips, so it follows the pelvis, not a hand. The GLB has 19 material slots: the exporter writes a separate copy of each shared material per mesh, but there are only 12 colour roles. 4,026 triangles. glb-lint reports 0 errors with the quality-requirements.json contract (verdict PASS); without a contract it reports 0 errors and an UNVERIFIED verdict. The remaining warnings are heuristics: duplicate material copies, the harness overlapping the overalls (it is worn over them), and the cap and bucket flagged as detached.
About the Window Cleaner 3D model
Window Cleaner is a free voxel 3D model from the City and office characters set, rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton. It measures 1.7 m × 1.8 m × 47 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 4,026 triangles across 19 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 460 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Window Cleaner 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 460 KB: 4,026 triangles, 15,552 vertices and 19 materials, modelled in metres at 1.7 m × 1.8 m × 47 cm.
- Is Window Cleaner animated?
- It ships without a baked clip, in its bind pose. It is rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton, so it takes retargeted animation.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Window Cleaner 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
