Koala
Adult koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) sitting at the foot of a eucalyptus branch, gripping it with both forepaws and looking at the viewer. The body is one continuous SDF-sculpted mesh with layered fur shells, white-fringed ears, a glossy spoon-shaped nose, opposable clawed digits, and a peeling-bark branch with narrow grey-green leaves. Every texture is generated procedurally.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
A realistic adult koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) clinging to a eucalyptus branch, holding it with both forepaws, looking at the viewer. Anatomy: about 0.7 m long body, a large round head, big fluffy rounded ears with white fringes, a large leathery black spoon-shaped nose, small dark eyes, strong paws with two opposable digits and sharp claws, no visible tail. Coat: dense woolly grey fur with a white chest and inner ears. The eucalyptus branch with narrow grey-green leaves and bark detail is part of the model. Hard requirement: the exported GLB must contain more than 20,000 triangles — measure it before delivering; a lighter model is rejected.

- three-check PASS (22 checks, 0 failed, 60 captures) · glb-lint PASS — 0 errors, 4 warnings (soft-clay material/triangle soft budgets, overridden in design-plan.md; sibling overlap; scale heuristic vs a 0.2 m reference). Verdict UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract exists.

Note: Triangles: 116,227 in the exported GLB (within the 25k–120k target). Most are in the head zone, which is meshed at 4 mm against 7.5 mm for the body; the 3 fur shells and the ear-fringe cards account for much of the rest. GLB size is 6.8 MB.Fur is 3 alpha-tested offset shells plus hair cards on the ear fringes and inner ears, not individual strands. At grazing angles the shell layering shows as speckle, and the silhouette reads as tufted rather than truly woolly.Head and body are separate overlapping patches of the same SDF at two grid densities (overlap band y 0.335–0.36 m under the chin). The fur hides it, but the body mesh is not one manifold surface.direction3d is soft-clay with explicit overrides (realistic proportions, procedural PBR textures, 10 materials, 120k triangle budget); no base direction targets photoreal fur.Static model: no rig, skin or clip; evaluatePose is a no-op. The kit's character craft pipeline (rig/performance) does not apply and is declared applies:false in the plan.Textures, all generated in code: fur 1024² JPEG ×3 (color/normal/ORM); bark 1024² JPEG ×3; skin 512² ×3; fur shell strands 512² PNG (alpha); ear fringe 128×512 PNG (alpha); eye iris 256² JPEG; leaf 128×512 ×2. Nothing exceeds 2048².The height of 0.97 m includes the branch and its top shoot; the koala itself sits about 0.5 m tall (≈0.7 m body length along the curled spine).Simplifications: no wet or eyelash detail, no individual whiskers, and paw pads are textured skin rather than sculpted ridges. The leaves are single folded blades without vein geometry.
