Hippopotamus
A life-size adult common hippopotamus standing four-square with its mouth flung open in a threat yawn, showing long ivory lower canines and forward-pointing incisors. Grey-brown hide with pink folds, a wet pink mouth and a slight oily sheen, all generated procedurally.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
A realistic adult common hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius) standing, mouth wide open in a threat yawn showing its huge canines and incisors. Anatomy: about 1.5 m at the shoulder, 4 m long, barrel body on short stout legs with four-toed feet, a massive head with eyes, ears and nostrils high on top, wide pink-lined mouth, long ivory lower canines, a short flattened tail. Skin: thick grey-brown hide with pinkish tones around the eyes, ears, mouth and skin folds, nearly hairless, a slight oily sheen; wrinkles at the neck and legs. Hard requirement: the exported GLB must contain more than 20,000 triangles — measure it before delivering; a lighter model is rejected.

Note: Exported model.glb: 112,996 triangles, 5.1 MB, 16 meshes / 22 primitives, 6 materials (skin, mouth, claw, tooth, eye, bristle). Bounds 1.49 m wide x 2.00 m tall (head raised in the yawn) x 4.04 m snout to tail; shoulder 1.53 m; soles exactly on y = 0. Embedded textures, all JPEG and generated in code: hide normal 2048x2048, hide base-colour detail 1024x1024, hide occlusion/roughness/metal 1024x1024, eye 512x256. Hue comes from vertex colours (COLOR_0) multiplied by the tiling detail map; the hide maps tile every 0.55 m on triplanar planar-projection UV charts, so faint pattern breaks can show at chart borders. The body is one signed-distance sculpt meshed with surface nets, then smoothed, re-projected and refined around head, feet and neck. It is split into named parts along shared vertices. Limits: not scan fidelity. Wrinkles are coarse sculpted folds plus a normal map, with no fine per-fold geometry. No fur shells or hair cards: the hippo is nearly hairless, so only sparse bristle geometry on the muzzle, chin and tail tip. The throat is darkened in pigment rather than by baked occlusion. The mouth lining is slightly pastel and the tongue smooth. Cheek teeth are simplified blocks; no 'blood sweat' secretion. glb-lint warnings (soft-clay triangle/material budgets and 0.2 m reference scale, part bounding-box overlap) are covered by the plan's direction3d overrides. The kit gate's craft rows fail because its craft route only supports humanoid toy rigs with posed performances, which does not apply to this static quadruped; three-check and glb-lint both pass.
