Bottlenose Dolphin
A life-size 2.8 m common bottlenose dolphin caught mid-leap, body arched and flukes flicked up. Glossy countershaded skin with a dark cape, pale pink-white belly, smile line and faint rake scratches.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
A realistic adult common bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) leaping in an arc, body curved, flukes raised. Anatomy: about 2.8 m long, a short thick beak (rostrum) with the 'smile' mouth line, a melon forehead, a blowhole on top of the head, a tall curved dorsal fin, pectoral flippers and a broad fluke tail. Skin: smooth and glossy, dark grey back fading through a lighter grey cape to a pale pinkish-white belly, with faint rake-mark scratches. No ground: the lowest point of the dolphin sits at y = 0. Hard requirement: the exported GLB must contain more than 20,000 triangles — measure it before delivering; a lighter model is rejected.

Note: Triangles: 105,224 in the exported GLB (body sweep 82,720; dorsal fin 4,888; each flipper 3,432; flukes 7,680; each eye 1,536). Rings are packed toward the head, so it gets about 2.3x the tail's ring density. GLB 3.39 MB. Textures are embedded JPEG: body base colour, normal and roughness/metalness at 2048x2048, and a fin atlas with the same three maps at 1024x1024. All are generated in JS with seeded noise, with no baked lighting. Materials: skin, fin, eye (clearcoat). Honest limits: (1) the dorsal fin, flippers and flukes are separate lofted meshes sunk into the body, not filleted into one surface; at close range the joins are hard edges, not blends. (2) The mouth is closed: there are no teeth, tongue or lower-jaw overbite, and the lower jaw does not protrude past the upper. (3) Eyes are glossy dark spheres with lids and folds in the normal map; there is no iris or pupil detail and no lid geometry. (4) Skin micro-ridges, rake grooves, blowhole crescent and slits live in the normal map only, so the silhouette is smooth. (5) Static pose: no skeleton, morphs or clip. The kit's craft rig is a humanoid toy skeleton and cannot express a cetacean spine. (6) Proportions follow published Tursiops ratios (rostrum to crease about 4.5% of length, blowhole about 15%, flipper insertion about 22%, dorsal fin about 9% tall, fluke span about 24%), not a scan. (7) Each mesh is named bottlenose-dolphin.<part> (node name and extras.partId) and wrapped in a dolphin.<part> alias group, because the plan checker's id grammar forbids hyphens. Because of that wrapper, glb-lint's detached-parts heuristic warns that the fins don't touch a sibling; they are embedded in the body. glb-lint also warns that the triangle count exceeds the soft-clay 60k budget and that the height exceeds its 0.2 m reference; both are deliberate overrides recorded in design-plan.md. (8) Lowest point: the rostrum tip at y = 0. In this arched pose the flukes sit about 6 cm above it.
