Statue plinths

A low-poly row of three Greek marble statue plinths on a stepped platform. The tall centre plinth carries a draped kore holding an offering, and the two side plinths carry black-banded terracotta amphorae. One knob brings back the ancient blue and red paint.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Statue plinths for the Greek Acropolis kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Greek Acropolis kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): White temples on a rocky hill. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: marble #e8e6e3, aegean blue #2e67b8, olive green #3a883a, terracotta #be5937, marble dark #c6bfb9, aegean blue dark #1f457a, marble light #f8f7f7, aegean blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `paintedOrBareMarble` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Painted or bare marble" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 5.9 m wide (X) × 2.7 m deep (Z) × 4.04 m tall to the top of the kore's head. The platform is 0.45 m high: a 0.12 m mid-grey footing, a marble-dark step and a marble terrace. The centre plinth is 1.0 m square and 1.7 m tall. The side plinths are 0.87 m wide and 1.36 m tall, each 0.5 m apart at the caps. The kore is about 1.75 m tall on a 0.12 m base. The origin is at the bottom centre and the footing rests on y = 0. The front faces +Z. The GLB has 1,452 triangles in 15 meshes. It is static and carries no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. At the default, 7 of the 12 colours are used; olive green, aegean blue dark, aegean blue light, warm white and dark wood are not used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on several materials; recolour by name. paintedOrBareMarble (the kit's 'Painted or bare marble' knob): 0 is all bare marble. From 0.25 the die panels are aegean blue, and from 0.5 the cap mouldings are terracotta (at the default 0.5, both are painted). From 0.75 the kore gets a blue hem and mantle, black hair and a terracotta offering. plinthCount (1, 3 or 5) sets the row. The centre plinth always carries the kore, and the others carry amphorae, each step out 20% lower and 13% slimmer. plinthHeight and dieWidth size the centre plinth, and the others scale with it. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the default was fully checked; the extremes were not rendered. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 warnings, all expected. They are duplicate same-named materials from the per-mesh export (hence 15 materials, over the direction's 10); deliberately non-indexed geometry for hard flat facets; nested siblings (cap moulding under its slab, statue pieces); dies and panels flagged 'detached' because they rest on other parts, not siblings; and a 4 m height against the direction's 1 m reference height. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 8 ids.

About the Statue plinths 3D model

Statue plinths is a free low-poly 3D model from the Greek Acropolis set. It measures 5.9 m × 4.0 m × 2.7 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,452 triangles across 15 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 115 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Statue plinths 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 115 KB: 1,452 triangles, 4,356 vertices and 15 materials, modelled in metres at 5.9 m × 4.0 m × 2.7 m.
Can I animate Statue plinths?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Statue plinths 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
