Olive presses
A low-poly ancient Greek olive-pressing yard. It has a lever-beam press, where a long dark-wood beam pinned between two posts squeezes a stack of rope baskets on a round marble press bed that spouts oil into a terracotta jar, and a roped weight stone hangs from the far end. Beside it stands a trapetum crushing mill with two upright millstones in a marble basin.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Olive presses for the Greek Acropolis kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Greek Acropolis kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): White temples on a rocky hill. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: marble #e8e6e3, aegean blue #2e67b8, olive green #3a883a, terracotta #be5937, marble dark #c6bfb9, aegean blue dark #1f457a, marble light #f8f7f7, aegean blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `paintedOrBareMarble` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Painted or bare marble" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 5.17 m long (X) × 3.02 m deep (Z) × 1.30 m tall at the beam tip, at the defaults. The press bed is 1.5 m across and the mill basin 1.8 m. The origin is at the bottom centre, everything rests on y = 0 and the front faces +Z. The GLB has 1,410 triangles in 16 meshes. It is static and carries no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and 8 of the 12 are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on several materials; recolour by name. paintedOrBareMarble (the kit's 'Painted or bare marble' knob) applies to the two marble pieces, the press bed and the mill basin. Below 0.25 they are weathered marble dark. From 0.25 they are clean marble. From 0.5 they get an aegean-blue rim band, and from 0.75 a terracotta foot band as well. beamLength (4–6 m) moves the tip and the weight stone. basketCount stacks 2–5 baskets, and the beam rises with the stack. showMill removes the trapetum mill, and the footprint re-centres. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. The defaults and one extreme set (beam 4 m, 5 baskets, paint 1) were rendered and checked. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings. They are duplicate same-named materials from the per-mesh export, deliberately non-indexed geometry for hard flat facets, nested bands on the bed and basin walls, and the baskets, beam and posts flagged 'detached'. Those parts rest on parts in other groups (the baskets on the bed, the beam on the board). The verdict line reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 10 ids.
About the Olive presses 3D model
Olive presses is a free low-poly 3D model from the Greek Acropolis set. It measures 5.2 m × 1.3 m × 3.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,410 triangles across 16 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 114 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Olive presses 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 114 KB: 1,410 triangles, 4,230 vertices and 16 materials, modelled in metres at 5.2 m × 1.3 m × 3.0 m.
- Can I animate Olive presses?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Olive presses 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
