Olive grove tiles
A low-poly 4 × 4 m Greek olive grove ground tile: two gnarled olive trees with flat, layered crowns stand in dug basins on red Mediterranean earth, among dry grass, field stones, a marble boundary stone and a fallen column drum. The edges are flat, so copies tile seamlessly in every direction.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Olive grove tiles for the Greek Acropolis kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. Make it a ground piece on an exact 4 × 4 m footprint with flat edges at y = 0 that tile seamlessly with its neighbours in every direction; origin at the tile centre. This is one part of the Greek Acropolis kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): White temples on a rocky hill. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: marble #e8e6e3, aegean blue #2e67b8, olive green #3a883a, terracotta #be5937, marble dark #c6bfb9, aegean blue dark #1f457a, marble light #f8f7f7, aegean blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `paintedOrBareMarble` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Painted or bare marble" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: exactly 4 × 4 m (X −2..2, Z −2..2), 2.57 m tall to the top of the taller canopy. The origin is at the tile centre and the bottom is on y = 0. The front faces +Z. The soil slab is 0.12 m thick at every border, and its faceted relief (up to 0.08 m) fades to that height at the edges, so neighbouring tiles meet flush. Trees, canopies and scatter stay inside the footprint, so nothing is cut or doubled at a seam. The trees are young olives about 2.4–2.6 m tall with crowns about 2 m across, each in a 1 m dug basin. The boundary stone is 0.68 m tall, and the fallen column drum is 0.6 m in diameter and 0.6 m long. The GLB has 5,374 triangles in 13 meshes. It is static and carries no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. At the default, 8 of the 12 colours are used; aegean blue dark, aegean blue light, marble light and soot black are not. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on several materials; recolour by name. paintedOrBareMarble (the kit's 'Painted or bare marble' knob) affects only the two marble pieces: 0 is all bare marble, 0.25+ paints the boundary stone's band aegean blue, 0.5+ paints the drum's fillet terracotta (both are painted at the default), and 0.75+ paints the boundary stone's footing terracotta. treeCount (1–3) switches between preset layouts that also move the marble pieces. treeHeight scales the trees, and each later tree is 10% smaller. Canopies are squeezed inward if they would cross the border. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the default was rendered and checked; the other param values were not. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 expected warnings. They are duplicate same-named materials from the per-mesh export; deliberately non-indexed geometry for flat facets; overlapping scatter buckets; canopies and the boundary-stone footing flagged 'detached' because they rest on the trunks and soil, not on siblings; and a 2.6 m height against the direction's 1 m reference height. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. The hero thumbnail clips the tip of the front corner slightly.
About the Olive grove tiles 3D model
Olive grove tiles is a free low-poly 3D model from the Greek Acropolis set. It measures 4.0 m × 2.6 m × 4.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 5,374 triangles across 13 meshes, with 9 named parts. Download the 390 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Olive grove tiles 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 390 KB: 5,374 triangles, 16,122 vertices and 13 materials, modelled in metres at 4.0 m × 2.6 m × 4.0 m.
- Can I animate Olive grove tiles?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 9 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Olive grove tiles 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
