Anchors
A low-poly 2.14 m quayside display anchor for the Fishing Harbour kit: a black iron admiralty anchor with curved arms, broad palms, a banded wooden stock and an iron ring, standing crown-down in a two-step stone plinth with a tan rope coiled at its foot.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Anchors for the Fishing Harbour kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Fishing Harbour kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Boats, nets and a sea wall. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: sea blue #2e67b8, boat colours #988e81, rope tan #bf9769, grey stone #9c958b, sea blue dark #1f457a, boat colours dark #70685c, sea blue light #6190d1, boat colours light #b6b3af, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `tide` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Tide" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 2.14 m tall from the plinth underside to the top of the ring. The anchor itself is 1.8 m from crown to ring, with 1.1 m across the arm tips at the default spread. The plinth is 1.44 × 1.04 m and 0.34 m high. The stock is 1.2 m long and runs along Z, so it overhangs the plinth front and back. The origin is on the shank axis at the plinth underside, and the model rests on y = 0. The arms spread along X, so the front (+Z) shows the anchor outline. It is a display anchor seated in an iron socket on a stone plinth, not a working anchor on a chain. tide (the kit's 'Tide') moves the wet line on the plinth from 0.05 m to 0.30 m. Stone below the line is the wet mid grey. It changes paint only, not the geometry. shankLength (1.2–1.9 m) sets the anchor height, and the stock length follows it. armSpread (42–66°) sets how far the arms curve up. coilTurns (1–4) stacks the rope coil. The GLB has 1,364 triangles in 8 meshes (counted from the GLB accessors). It is static and carries no animation clip. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed). three-check's ~1.63k figure includes the viewer's staging ground, which is not exported. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and 5 of the 12 are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on several materials; recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the model only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Both extremes rendered and passed three-check with all 7 part ids: all-min and all-max. glb-lint: 0 errors and only heuristic warnings, all expected. They cover duplicate material names, non-indexed flat shading, the stock bands nested on the stock, 'detached' heuristics for parts that touch meshes in other parts, and the scale check for a subject taller than 1 m. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan passes with the slug de-hyphenated. Scene head and merge adapted from the fishing-harbour-buoys library asset. One fix round, visual only: the rope now drops straight onto the coil instead of hooking outward, and the default tide line was raised onto the upper plinth block.
About the Anchors 3D model
Anchors is a free low-poly 3D model from the Fishing Harbour set. It measures 1.4 m × 2.1 m × 1.2 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,364 triangles across 8 meshes, with 7 named parts. Download the 104 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Anchors 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 104 KB: 1,364 triangles, 4,092 vertices and 8 materials, modelled in metres at 1.4 m × 2.1 m × 1.2 m.
- Can I animate Anchors?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 7 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Anchors 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
