Hall shell
A low-poly steel production hall for the Factory Floor kit: machine-green ribbed cladding over a concrete plinth, a shallow steel gable roof with ridge rooflights, and a half-raised roller door in a yellow-and-black hazard frame. Wrapped product pallets wait on the front apron.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Hall shell for the Factory Floor kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Factory Floor kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A production hall at full speed. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: machine green #3a883a, safety yellow #ffdd33, concrete #a39e99, steel #7e8c9a, machine green dark #235223, safety yellow dark #e6bf00, machine green light #5db15d, safety yellow light #ffea80, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `productMade` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Product made" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: the hall is 20 m wide × 30 m long (five 6 m bays), with 7.0 m eaves, a 10° steel gable ridge at about 9.0 m and roof ventilators topping out at 9.78 m. Overall, including the slab and the 8 m front apron, the footprint is 22.6 m × 39.2 m. The origin is the bottom centre of that whole footprint, so the hall sits about 4 m behind it. The slab rests on y = 0 and the roller door faces +Z. The building is a closed shell: the half-open roller door shows a shallow dark lined bay, not a modelled interior. The GLB has 3,952 triangles in 34 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and all 12 are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. width sets the span, bays sets the length, and eave sets the wall height (the roller door shrinks to fit low walls). productMade (the kit's 'Product made') raises the roller door from 20% to 75% open and stages 1 to 6 wrapped product pallets on the apron (4 at the default). The model stays valid across the ranges; the largest is under 5k triangles. glb-lint: 0 errors and 4 heuristic warnings. Two are about material count and come from the per-mesh materials. One flags nested overlaps where ribs, bands and frames are deliberately embedded in walls. The last compares the height with the direction's 1 m reference. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. A de-hyphenated copy passes, three-check accepts the ids, and all 10 survive the GLB reload.
About the Hall shell 3D model
Hall shell is a free low-poly 3D model from the Factory Floor set. It measures 23 m × 9.8 m × 39 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,952 triangles across 34 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 236 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Hall shell 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 236 KB: 3,952 triangles, 7,634 vertices and 34 materials, modelled in metres at 23 m × 9.8 m × 39 m.
- Can I animate Hall shell?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Hall shell 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
