Safety signs

A low-poly free-standing factory floor sign stack on a steel post in a hazard-striped weighted base: a yellow exclamation warning triangle, a green safe-route arrow board, a yellow-and-black hazard stripe panel and a production tally board, capped by an amber beacon.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Safety signs for the Factory Floor kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Factory Floor kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A production hall at full speed. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: machine green #3a883a, safety yellow #ffdd33, concrete #a39e99, steel #7e8c9a, machine green dark #235223, safety yellow dark #e6bf00, machine green light #5db15d, safety yellow light #ffea80, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `productMade` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Product made" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 2.56 m tall to the beacon cap, on a 0.70 × 0.70 m weighted base plate (no floor fixings needed). The warning triangle is 0.8 m on a side, the three rectangular panels are 0.7 m wide, and the lowest board's bottom edge is 0.8 m above the floor. The origin is at the bottom centre, the model rests on y = 0 and the signs face +Z; the backs are plain steel plates with clamp blocks on the post. productMade (the kit's 'Product made') fills the green bar on the production tally board and lights one of five yellow tick blocks per 20 %; nothing else changes. clearance (0.5–1.2 m) raises the sign stack on a longer post, and signScale (0.8–1.25) scales the panels. All three were checked at both extremes. The params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. The GLB has 788 triangles in 24 meshes and is static, with no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour (10 of the 12 are used; concrete and dark wood are not). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so names repeat: recolour by name. The viewer's staging ground and light rig are not in the GLB. glb-lint reports 0 errors. Its warnings are expected: duplicate material names come from the per-part, per-colour meshes; geometry is non-indexed on purpose for flat facets; overlaps are the base layers and bolts nested in the plinth; 'detached' flags sign plates that are held by the post, which is a separate part; the height warning only compares against a 1 m reference. The verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check keeps all part ids.

About the Safety signs 3D model

Safety signs is a free low-poly 3D model from the Factory Floor set. It measures 80 cm × 2.6 m × 70 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 788 triangles across 24 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 76 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Safety signs 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 76 KB: 788 triangles, 2,364 vertices and 24 materials, modelled in metres at 80 cm × 2.6 m × 70 cm.
Can I animate Safety signs?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Safety signs 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
