Control panels
A low-poly floor-standing machine control panel: a tall machine-green cabinet on a hazard-striped plinth with a sloped operator desk of push buttons, selector switches and a big yellow emergency stop, an HMI screen, indicator lamps and a signal stack light on the roof.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Control panels for the Factory Floor kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Factory Floor kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A production hall at full speed. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: machine green #3a883a, safety yellow #ffdd33, concrete #a39e99, steel #7e8c9a, machine green dark #235223, safety yellow dark #e6bf00, machine green light #5db15d, safety yellow light #ffea80, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `productMade` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Product made" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 1.23 m wide, 0.95 m deep including the operator desk (the cabinet alone is 0.5 m deep), and 2.39 m tall to the top of the stack light; the cabinet roof is at 1.9 m and the desk front edge at 0.84 m. The origin is at the bottom centre of the footprint, the plinth rests on y = 0, and the desk and screen face +Z, with the service doors at the back. The GLB has 2,312 triangles and no animation clip; it is a static asset. 10 of the 12 kit colours are used (concrete and dark wood are not), and every material is named exactly after its palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name repeats across materials: recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. panelWidth widens the cabinet, desk and button spacing, cabinetHeight raises the roof (the screen and strip re-centre), and deskSlope tilts the control surface from 10° to 30°. productMade (the kit's 'Product made') lights that share of the ten-cell production strip on the cabinet header: 0 leaves it dark, the default lights 5, and 1 lights all 10. Meshes are merged per part and colour, so the doors are not rigged to open. glb-lint: 0 errors. Its verdict prints UNVERIFIED because 5 rules need a requirements contract or a manual review, plus 4 heuristic warnings (per-mesh duplicate materials, deliberately nested trim such as louvres and hazard blocks biting into their host, and a scale hint expecting ~1 m objects). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; a copy with the hyphens removed passes, and three-check accepts the ids, all 9 of which survive the GLB reload.
About the Control panels 3D model
Control panels is a free low-poly 3D model from the Factory Floor set. It measures 1.2 m × 2.4 m × 95 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,312 triangles across 37 meshes, with 9 named parts. Download the 131 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Control panels 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 131 KB: 2,312 triangles, 3,448 vertices and 37 materials, modelled in metres at 1.2 m × 2.4 m × 95 cm.
- Can I animate Control panels?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 9 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Control panels 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
