Market loggia
A low-poly Venetian market loggia on a canal quay. Round white stone arches on columns run around all four sides under a hipped terracotta roof with a small bell lantern. Inside are wooden market counters heaped with produce, and stone steps lead down into a strip of canal water.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Market loggia for the Canal City kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Canal City kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A trading city of bridges and palaces. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: terracotta #be5937, canal green #3a883a, stone white #f4f1ec, carnival gold #d0a225, terracotta dark #823d26, canal green dark #235223, terracotta light #d08971, canal green light #5db15d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `waterLevel` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Water level" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at the default params: an open hall of 5 × 3 round-arched bays on a 3 m column grid (15 m × 9 m between column centres) standing on a 17.4 m × 12.4 m stone quay that is 1 m high. The model is 19.4 m wide including the canal strip, 16.2 m deep (3 m canal strip at the front, land steps at the back) and 11.78 m tall to the lantern finial. Arches spring at 3 m above the quay floor. The canal front faces +Z, the origin is at the bottom centre of the whole footprint and the model rests on y = 0. The GLB has 6,524 triangles in 33 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. With every param at its maximum (7 × 4 bays, 4 counters per row) it is about 8,460 triangles. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed). Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour. 11 of the 12 kit colours are used; soot black is not needed. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. There is no text and there are no signs. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. waterLevel (the kit's 'Water level') sets the canal surface from 0.15 m to 0.70 m and raises the green wet band on the quay wall with it, always below the 1 m quay top. The lower canal steps go under at higher levels. The canal strip is part of the model so the loggia reads as canal-side on its own. It is an opaque slab whose bottom sits on y = 0. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 heuristic warnings: material count and duplicate materials (from the per-mesh materials), unindexed geometry (flat shading on purpose), sibling overlap (trims and keystones embedded on purpose), a 'detached' flag on the merged column mesh (the columns stand on the quay) and scale (compared with the direction's 1 m reference). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens this library's slug-based ids need. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 10 survive the GLB reload.
About the Market loggia 3D model
Market loggia is a free low-poly 3D model from the Canal City set. It measures 19 m × 12 m × 16 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 6,524 triangles across 33 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 488 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Market loggia 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 488 KB: 6,524 triangles, 19,572 vertices and 33 materials, modelled in metres at 19 m × 12 m × 16 m.
- Can I animate Market loggia?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Market loggia 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
