Pumpkins
A low-poly harvest group of three ribbed pumpkins: a tall gold field pumpkin with a bent woody stem and a curling tendril, a squat cream pumpkin and a small flattened red pumpkin.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Pumpkins for the Autumn Orchard kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Autumn Orchard kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Harvest time on a small farm. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: russet #988e81, apple red #c32222, gold #d0a225, cream #f1e7d0, russet dark #70685c, apple red dark #821717, russet light #b6b3af, apple red light #db5757, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 0.84 m wide (x) × 0.60 m deep (z) × 0.39 m tall (to the top of the gold pumpkin's stem) at the defaults. The gold pumpkin is 0.42 m across and 0.34 m tall at the body. The cream pumpkin is 0.32 m across and 0.17 m tall, and the red one is 0.25 m across and 0.12 m tall. The origin is at the bottom centre, resting on y = 0, and the front faces +Z. The big pumpkin sits at the back, and the two smaller ones sit in front of it with 1.5 cm clearance at its widest point, so nothing interpenetrates. The GLB has 2,706 triangles in 6 meshes and no animation clip. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed). Each material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so 'russet dark' appears three times (one per stem); recolour by name. season (the kit's 'Season', 0 = early autumn, 1 = late autumn) moves in three steps. It deepens the red pumpkin from apple red light through apple red to apple red dark, and darkens the stems from russet through russet dark to dark wood. count sets 1, 2 or 3 pumpkins: 1 is gold only, 2 adds cream. Missing pumpkins' part ids are absent. ribs sets the lobe count (8–14) on all three. size sets the big pumpkin's diameter (0.32–0.52 m), and the other two scale with it. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. glb-lint: 0 errors and 3 heuristic warnings, all expected: duplicate 'russet dark' materials (one per stem mesh), non-indexed flat shading, and a height below the 1 m reference (pumpkins really are this size). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 7 survive the GLB reload. Fix round 1: the tendril was a flat ring that read as a halo, so it became a corkscrew, and the hero framing was tightened. Fix round 2: the tendril was turned so the curl shows in the hero view.
About the Pumpkins 3D model
Pumpkins is a free low-poly 3D model from the Autumn Orchard set. It measures 84 cm × 39 cm × 60 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,706 triangles across 6 meshes, with 7 named parts. Download the 196 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Pumpkins 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 196 KB: 2,706 triangles, 8,118 vertices and 6 materials, modelled in metres at 84 cm × 39 cm × 60 cm.
- Can I animate Pumpkins?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 7 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Pumpkins 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
