Pyramid in stackable tiers
A low-poly Egyptian step pyramid with five stacked limestone tiers and a gold capstone. It stands on a stone platform, with a lapis-framed entrance gateway and two gold-tipped obelisks on the forecourt.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Pyramid in stackable tiers for the Ancient Egypt kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Ancient Egypt kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Temples and work camps by the river. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: sand #d1bd94, lapis blue #2e67b8, gold #d0a225, palm green #3a883a, sand dark #ba9c5e, lapis blue dark #1f457a, sand light #e6ddcb, lapis blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `pyramidSizeAndCompletion` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Pyramid size and completion" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: at the default the pyramid is 41.06 m tall to the pyramidion tip. Five 6 m tiers step in 4.5 m per side, from a 49.4 m base tier to a 12 m summit. The whole asset, including the platform and the forecourt with its obelisks, covers about 55.4 × 67.4 m. The entrance faces +Z, the origin is the bottom centre of the full footprint and the model rests on y = 0. The GLB has 378 triangles in 28 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed), so the facets survive in any engine. Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour. 8 of the 12 kit colours are used; palm green, lapis blue dark, mid grey and dark wood are not. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. pyramidSizeAndCompletion (the kit's 'Pyramid size and completion') stacks 3–7 tiers (round(3 + 4·value)). The summit stays 12 m wide, so each tier added widens the base by two step depths: the pyramid grows as it is completed, and every value gives a finished, capped pyramid. Tier part ids follow the tier count (tier_1 … tier_n). tierHeight (4–8 m) scales the tiers and the gateway, door and obelisks with them. stepDepth (2.5–6 m) sets the terrace width. Every setting stays far under the 10,000-triangle budget. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings. Material count and duplicate materials come from the per-mesh materials. Unindexed geometry is deliberate flat shading. Sibling overlap comes from footing bands and ledges that are embedded in each tier on purpose. Scale compares the height with the direction's 1 m reference. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 10 survive the GLB reload. Fix rounds: (1) the pale ledges washed every tier out, so the ledges became sand dark, the gateway grew and the obelisks moved apart to stop hiding the door; (2) the hero framing was loosened so the forecourt isn't cropped; (3) the platform became sand so the terraces read from the top view.
About the Pyramid in stackable tiers 3D model
Pyramid in stackable tiers is a free low-poly 3D model from the Ancient Egypt set. It measures 55 m × 41 m × 67 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 378 triangles across 28 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 50 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Pyramid in stackable tiers 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 50 KB: 378 triangles, 1,134 vertices and 28 materials, modelled in metres at 55 m × 41 m × 67 m.
- Can I animate Pyramid in stackable tiers?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Pyramid in stackable tiers 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
