Papyrus stacks
A low-poly Ancient Egyptian scribe's papyrus store: a pyramid of lapis- and gold-tied scrolls and a stone-weighted stack of sheets on a dark-wood rack, with a bundle of fresh green papyrus stalks lying behind.

Left rail: colours and the 3 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Papyrus stacks for the Ancient Egypt kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Ancient Egypt kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Temples and work camps by the river. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: sand #d1bd94, lapis blue #2e67b8, gold #d0a225, palm green #3a883a, sand dark #ba9c5e, lapis blue dark #1f457a, sand light #e6ddcb, lapis blue light #6190d1, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `pyramidSizeAndCompletion` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Pyramid size and completion" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 1.41 m wide (X) × 0.63 m deep (Z) × 0.40 m tall. The rack is 1.0 × 0.42 m and 7 cm high; scrolls are 8.5 cm across and 0.34 m long; sheets are 0.32 × 0.36 m; the reed bundle is about 1.4 m long including its umbels. The origin is at the bottom centre, the rack runners and the reed bundle's ties rest on y = 0, and the front (scroll ends) faces +Z. The GLB has 2,772 triangles in 11 meshes, is static and carries no animation clip; three-check's 3,062-triangle figure includes the viewer's staging ground, which is not exported. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour (8 of the 12 are used). The exporter writes one material per mesh, so 'sand', 'sand light' and 'dark wood' each appear on two materials; recolour by name. pyramidSizeAndCompletion (the kit's 'Pyramid size and completion' knob) sets how far the scroll pyramid is built: from 2 rows (11 scrolls) at 0 up to a full 6-row peak (21 scrolls) at 1, with 4 rows (18 scrolls) at the default; it also grows the sheet stack from 4 to 16 sheets. scrollLength changes the roll length (they may overhang the rack slightly at the maximum). reedStalks thins the reed bundle from 7 stalks to 3. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change the geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer; only the defaults were rendered and checked. Scroll positions and tie colours use a fixed seed, so every build is identical. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 expected warnings: material count (11) above the direction's 10 and duplicate same-named materials, both from the per-mesh export; deliberately non-indexed geometry for hard flat facets; nested sibling bounds (scroll cores inside the rolls); the stone weight flagged 'detached' though it sits 8 mm into the top sheet (a separate part); and the scale heuristic, which expects a 1 m-tall subject. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 7 ids.
About the Papyrus stacks 3D model
Papyrus stacks is a free low-poly 3D model from the Ancient Egypt set. It measures 1.4 m × 40 cm × 63 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,772 triangles across 11 meshes, with 7 named parts. Download the 205 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Papyrus stacks 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 205 KB: 2,772 triangles, 8,316 vertices and 11 materials, modelled in metres at 1.4 m × 40 cm × 63 cm.
- Can I animate Papyrus stacks?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 7 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Papyrus stacks 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
