Feeding cart
A zoo keeper's four-wheeled feeding cart: a slatted green platform truck carrying two white feed bins with yellow hinged lids, a hay bale and a crate of greens and browse branches, with a push handle, a hanging feed bucket and a tow bar. Low-poly, built for the Zoo kit.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Feeding cart for the Zoo kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Zoo kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Enclosures and winding paths. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: leaf green #3a883a, sand #d1bd94, timber #765232, sign yellow #eecd2b, leaf green dark #235223, sand dark #ba9c5e, leaf green light #5db15d, sand light #e6ddcb, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `habitatMix` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Habitat mix" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Real-world scale in metres: 1.6 m deck, about 0.83 m wide, about 2.5 m long including the push handle, hanging bucket and tow bar, deck top at 0.48 m, handle at 1.06 m, 1.27 m tall to the browse leaves at habitatMix 0.5. Origin is bottom centre, +Y up, the tow-bar end faces +Z; the four wheels and the tow-eye rest on y = 0. 1888 triangles in the GLB. Baked clip 'scene-motion' (8 s, seamless): the left feed-bin lid swings open on its rear hinge and closes, then the right lid; the bucket sways side to side on its hook. Wheels, chassis and load never move, and each moving node's origin sits exactly on its hinge line or hook. The GLB snapshot pose is mid-loop, so one lid may be open in the file's default pose; t = 0 has both lids shut. habitatMix (the kit's Habitat mix) sets the feed load: 0 = grassland grazers (two stacked hay bales, three produce heads, no browse), 1 = forest browsers (one bale, seven produce heads, three leafy browse branches). lidSwing only changes the animation amplitude. Part ids use the prefix 'zoofeedingcart.' because the kit's part-id format does not allow hyphens. Static groups are merged into one mesh per palette material; the exporter writes one material instance per mesh, so the GLB repeats the same 11 palette-named materials (sand light is not used). Dedupe by name if needed. All materials are flat-shaded, metalness 0, no textures. glb-lint has 0 errors (its verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied); its warnings are heuristics only (repeated material instances, non-indexed flat-facet primitives, nested hub/tyre and bin/band overlaps, and hubcaps, corner markers and deck slats that meet their supports exactly at a face). In the in-browser viewer, the portrait (390 px) hero view crops the cart's ends; the landscape preview is fully framed.
About the Feeding cart 3D model
Feeding cart is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Zoo set. It measures 83 cm × 1.3 m × 2.5 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,888 triangles across 48 meshes, with 17 named parts and a baked animation (8.0 s). Download the 203 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Feeding cart 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 203 KB: 1,888 triangles, 5,592 vertices and 48 materials, modelled in metres at 83 cm × 1.3 m × 2.5 m.
- Is Feeding cart animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (8.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Feeding cart 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
