Parking Warden

A sturdy, unimpressed parking warden in her 40s, built from voxel cubes: hi-vis yellow vest over a navy uniform, peaked cap and a handheld ticket machine in her right hand. Skinned to a Mixamo-named skeleton in T-pose, ready for retargeted animation.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

A woman, 40s, sturdy, about 1.65 m tall. Unimpressed expression. Wearing: hi-vis vest over dark uniform, cap, sensible shoes (plain fabrics, no logos, brand names or readable text). Palette: Hi-vis yellow, navy. Prop: ticket machine, carried naturally and bound to the hand or arm bone that holds it. Voxel style. The rig test is judged by eye from dist/rig-test.png: in the bent pose every limb, sleeve and the prop must stay attached and deform with the body — verify the capture visually before reporting PASS.

Note: Single shared skeleton of 25 mixamorig bones (three.js loads them as mixamorigHips etc.); no finger bones — block mitten hands use mixamorig:LeftHand/RightHand only. Bones are oriented Mixamo-style (+Y down each bone), but retarget by name rather than copying raw Mixamo quaternions. The ticket machine is its own mesh weighted 100% to mixamorig:RightHand; the cap is weighted 100% to mixamorig:Head. 6,796 triangles across 7 skinned meshes / 12 primitives, 12 flat matte materials named by role, with cube shading in vertex colour (COLOR_0) and no textures. Every part is a closed shell, so the cap, vest or prop can be hidden without opening holes; the vest nests over the shirt by design. No animation clips. Linear-blend skinning creases the groin when the thigh comes forward 45° (worst edge shrinks to 0.18×); there is no tearing. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 1 nesting warning; its overall verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied.

About the Parking Warden 3D model

Parking Warden is a free voxel 3D model from the City and office characters set, rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton. It measures 1.7 m × 1.6 m × 41 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 6,796 triangles across 12 meshes, with 7 named parts. Download the 868 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Parking Warden 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 868 KB: 6,796 triangles, 19,440 vertices and 12 materials, modelled in metres at 1.7 m × 1.6 m × 41 cm.
Is Parking Warden animated?
It ships without a baked clip, in its bind pose. It is rigged with a 25-bone Mixamo-compatible skeleton, so it takes retargeted animation.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Parking Warden 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
