Pallets

A low-poly stack of three EUR-size dark-wood block pallets with orange-painted corner blocks for the Warehouse and Logistics kit. The top pallet is half-stocked with taped, labelled cardboard shipping cartons.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Pallets for the Warehouse and Logistics kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Warehouse and Logistics kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Racks, parcels and deadlines. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: cardboard brown #6b4a2e, rack orange #ed7e1d, grey #757e8a, hi-vis yellow #ffe042, cardboard brown dark #362517, rack orange dark #af590e, cardboard brown light #9b704b, rack orange light #eea668, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `stockLevel` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Stock level" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: each pallet is 1.20 m long (X) × 0.80 m deep (Z) × 0.144 m tall, the EUR/EPAL 1 dimensions, built from 22 mm boards and 78 mm blocks. Cartons are about 0.37 × 0.36 × 0.28 m, six per layer. At the defaults (3 pallets, stockLevel 0.5) the asset is about 1.23 × 0.99 × 0.83 m. The two lower pallets sit up to about 2 cm and 1° askew. The skew is seeded, so it always comes out the same. The origin is at the bottom centre, the bottom runners rest on y = 0, and the long fork-entry side faces +Z. The GLB has 1,020 triangles in 11 meshes. It is static and has no animation clip. three-check's figure of 1,310 triangles includes the viewer's staging ground, which is not exported. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and the default build uses 8 of the 12. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name can appear on more than one material: recolour by name. stockLevel (the kit's 'Stock level') fills the top pallet one carton at a time, front row first and then layer by layer: 0 is an empty pallet, 0.5 is 9 cartons and 1 is 18 cartons in three full layers. Tape is only drawn on cartons with nothing stacked on top. stackCount sets 1–5 pallets, and stackSkew sets how crooked the empty pallets under the loaded one sit. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults. Labels are plain colour blocks with no text. glb-lint: 0 errors. Its verdict prints UNVERIFIED because 5 rules need a requirements contract or a manual review. It also gives 4 warnings: 11 material slots against the direction's soft maximum of 10 (there are only 8 distinct colours, repeated because each mesh gets its own material), duplicate material names, non-indexed geometry (deliberate flat facets) and stacked parts overlapping in bounds. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes.

About the Pallets 3D model

Pallets is a free low-poly 3D model from the Warehouse and Logistics set. It measures 1.2 m × 99 cm × 82 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,020 triangles across 11 meshes, with 4 named parts. Download the 81 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Pallets 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 81 KB: 1,020 triangles, 3,060 vertices and 11 materials, modelled in metres at 1.2 m × 99 cm × 82 cm.
Can I animate Pallets?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 4 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Pallets 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
