Forklift
A low-poly rack-orange counterbalance forklift for the Warehouse and Logistics kit, carrying a dark-wood pallet of taped cardboard parcels. It loops a full lift cycle: the mast tilts back, the forks raise the pallet and lower it again, the rear wheels steer and the hi-vis beacon spins.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Forklift for the Warehouse and Logistics kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Warehouse and Logistics kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Racks, parcels and deadlines. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: cardboard brown #6b4a2e, rack orange #ed7e1d, grey #757e8a, hi-vis yellow #ffe042, cardboard brown dark #362517, rack orange dark #af590e, cardboard brown light #9b704b, rack orange light #eea668, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `stockLevel` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Stock level" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: about 1.52 m wide (x) × 3.52 m long (z) × 2.35 m tall to the beacon top; the mast is 2.2 m and the overhead guard 2.17 m. The truck alone is 2.0 m long; the 1.2 × 1.0 m pallet rides on 1.1 m forks pointing toward +Z. The origin is the bottom centre of the whole footprint and the four tyres rest on y = 0. 1,792 triangles in 28 meshes (one per part and colour), flat-shaded and non-indexed. Every material is named exactly after the Warehouse and Logistics palette colour it uses; all 12 colours appear. The 8 s 'scene-motion' clip loops seamlessly and the chassis never moves: the mast tilts back up to mastTilt about its foot hinge on the front axle line, the carriage, forks, pallet and parcels slide up the mast to liftHeight and back, the lift rams follow at half the carriage travel, the rear kingpins swivel ±steerAngle about vertical axes through the wheel centres, the steering wheel turns about its column and the beacon makes 8 turns. The front drive wheels do not roll because the truck stands still. stockLevel (the kit's 'Stock level') sets how many taped parcels are on the pallet: 0 is an empty pallet, 0.5 is one layer of four, 1 is two layers of eight. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change it when the viewer rebuilds the scene; only the defaults were rendered and checked. The GLB's static node transforms are one frame of the loop, so play the clip (t = 0 is the rest pose) for the intended pose. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 heuristic warnings, all expected (non-indexed flat shading, one material per mesh, intended nesting, 'detached' guard/seat/lamps/pallet merged parts that actually touch the chassis or forks, and a height above the 1 m reference). The rig is adapted from the factory-floor-forklift library asset, re-coloured and re-loaded for this kit. plan-check only PASSes with the slug de-hyphenated in design-plan.md (its part-id regex rejects hyphens) while three-check needs the real hyphenated ids, so the delivered plan keeps the hyphenated ids.
About the Forklift 3D model
Forklift is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Warehouse and Logistics set. It measures 1.5 m × 2.4 m × 3.5 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,792 triangles across 28 meshes, with 16 named parts and a baked animation (8.0 s). Download the 234 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Forklift 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 234 KB: 1,792 triangles, 5,376 vertices and 28 materials, modelled in metres at 1.5 m × 2.4 m × 3.5 m.
- Is Forklift animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (8.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Forklift 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
