Community hall
A low-poly solarpunk community hall with a tall glazed front gable in a timber mullion grid. One roof slope is a planted green roof and the other carries solar panels. A planted pergola shelters the doors, and a terracotta kitchen annex with a garden roof, a rainwater tank, planters, trees and climbing vines tie it into the garden city.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Community hall for the Solarpunk Garden City kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Solarpunk Garden City kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A green city of glass and vines. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: leaf green #3a883a, white #f4f1ec, terracotta #be5937, sky blue #2e67b8, leaf green dark #235223, white dark #d7cebc, leaf green light #5db15d, white light #f9f8f6, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `plantCoverage` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Plant coverage" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: the overall footprint, including trees, is 24.3 m wide (x) by 22.0 m deep (z), and the ridge-lantern finial is the highest point at 12.15 m. The hall itself is 14 m wide and 18 m deep, with 4.6 m eaves and a 35° gable roof whose ridge sits about 9.5 m up. The kitchen annex is 6 × 7 m and 3.2 m high. The origin is the bottom centre of the whole footprint, so the hall body sits about 1 m right of and 1.5 m behind the origin because the annex is on its left. Everything rests on y = 0 and the entrance faces +Z. The GLB has 3,728 triangles in 47 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour and all 12 are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. hallWidth and hallDepth size the hall, and the window bays, mullions and solar rows follow them. roofPitch sets the gable height. plantCoverage (the kit's 'Plant coverage') sets the number of trees (2–6), hedge height, roof shrubs and vine count and length. At 0 the planting is trimmed back but never bare. At the extremes the viewer measured about 6,600 triangles with every param at its maximum and about 2,400 at its minimum, so all settings stay under 10,000. glb-lint: 0 errors and 4 heuristic warnings. Two cover the material count, both caused by per-mesh materials. One flags deliberate nesting such as glass recessed in walls and lawns on slabs. The last compares the height with the direction's 1 m reference. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. three-check accepts those ids, and all 12 survive the GLB reload.
About the Community hall 3D model
Community hall is a free low-poly 3D model from the Solarpunk Garden City set. It measures 24 m × 12 m × 22 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 3,728 triangles across 47 meshes, with 12 named parts. Download the 249 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Community hall 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 249 KB: 3,728 triangles, 7,671 vertices and 47 materials, modelled in metres at 24 m × 12 m × 22 m.
- Can I animate Community hall?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 12 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Community hall 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
