Market stalls

A low-poly pair of produce market stalls: timber frames under sedum green roofs with small solar panels, terracotta-and-white striped awnings over white counters stacked with crates of produce, vines on the posts and a blank chalk A-board.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Market stalls for the Solarpunk Garden City kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Solarpunk Garden City kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A green city of glass and vines. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: leaf green #3a883a, white #f4f1ec, terracotta #be5937, sky blue #2e67b8, leaf green dark #235223, white dark #d7cebc, leaf green light #5db15d, white light #f9f8f6, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `plantCoverage` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Plant coverage" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 4.96 m wide × 2.10 m deep × 2.82 m tall overall. Each stall is 2.0 m wide, with 2.3 m of headroom under the beams, a 0.91 m counter and a 0.7 m awning. The width includes the A-board standing beside the row. The origin is the bottom centre of the whole footprint, resting on y = 0, with the customer side facing +Z. The GLB has 5,296 triangles in 32 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour, and all 12 colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a colour name can appear on several materials: recolour by name. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults; they only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer, and only the defaults were rendered and checked. The 6,000-triangle budget holds for 1–2 stalls; stallCount 3 goes over it (roughly 8,000 triangles, estimated from about 2,650 per stall and not measured). plantCoverage (the kit's 'Plant coverage') sets how high the vines climb the posts, how many planters hang from the front beams (0 to 3), and the number and size of the roof clumps and trough shrubs. The sedum roof mat stays at every setting. The chalk board is deliberately blank. glb-lint: 0 errors and 4 warnings. Two are about material count and duplicate materials, and both come from the per-mesh materials. The other two are heuristics: overlaps where parts are deliberately nested, and model scale compared with a 1 m reference. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; three-check accepts those ids and all 9 survive the GLB reload.

About the Market stalls 3D model

Market stalls is a free low-poly 3D model from the Solarpunk Garden City set. It measures 5.0 m × 2.8 m × 2.1 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 5,296 triangles across 32 meshes, with 9 named parts. Download the 365 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Market stalls 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 365 KB: 5,296 triangles, 12,854 vertices and 32 materials, modelled in metres at 5.0 m × 2.8 m × 2.1 m.
Can I animate Market stalls?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 9 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Market stalls 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
