Acacia and baobab trees
A low-poly pair of savanna trees for the Savanna kit: a flat-topped umbrella thorn acacia on a dark forked trunk, and a squat baobab with a fat grey bottle trunk and a crown of stubby branches tipped with leaf clumps.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Acacia and baobab trees for the Savanna kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Savanna kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Golden grass and big animals. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: straw gold #d0a225, acacia green #3a883a, earth red #c32222, dusk purple #572e6b, straw gold dark #8f7019, acacia green dark #235223, straw gold light #debd63, acacia green light #5db15d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `dryOrWetSeason` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Dry or wet season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size at the defaults: 15.4 m wide (X) × 8.6 m deep × 8.38 m tall. The umbrella thorn acacia is 6.5 m tall with a canopy about 7.5 m across. The baobab is 8.4 m tall to its leaf tips, with a trunk 3.2 m in diameter and 5.4 m tall to the crown. The two trees stand about 8 m apart, baobab on the left (−X) and acacia on the right (+X). Both trunks rest flat on y = 0, the origin is at the bottom centre of the pair and the front faces +Z. The GLB has 4,494 triangles in 9 meshes and is static, with no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so some names repeat: recolour by name. dryOrWetSeason (the kit's 'Dry or wet season') shifts the acacia canopy from dusty dark green with a straw-gold-dark underside (0) to fresh light green (1). It also grows the deciduous baobab's leaf clumps from small dry straw-gold tufts to full green clumps. At the default 0.5 the GLB uses only the greens, so the straw gold colours appear only in a rebuilt dry-season variant. acaciaHeight scales the whole acacia, baobabGirth sets the baobab trunk diameter, and baobabBranches sets its crown branch count. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. Only the defaults were rendered and checked. Viewer-only staging: exposure is 0.8 rather than 1.05; it is not in the GLB. glb-lint reports 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings, all expected. The duplicate materials come from the per-mesh export. The geometry is non-indexed on purpose, for flat facets. The foliage pads overlap each other on purpose. Limbs and branches are flagged as 'detached' only because they are separate part groups: they start inside their trunks. The height check flags 8.4 m against a 1 m reference, which is correct for trees. The verdict line reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check keeps all 7 ids. On the 390x844 mobile capture the wide pair is cropped at the sides.
About the Acacia and baobab trees 3D model
Acacia and baobab trees is a free low-poly 3D model from the Savanna set. It measures 15 m × 8.4 m × 8.6 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 4,494 triangles across 9 meshes, with 7 named parts. Download the 325 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Acacia and baobab trees 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 325 KB: 4,494 triangles, 13,482 vertices and 9 materials, modelled in metres at 15 m × 8.4 m × 8.6 m.
- Can I animate Acacia and baobab trees?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 7 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Acacia and baobab trees 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
