Safari truck
A low-poly open-sided safari game-viewing truck in acacia green, with stadium-tiered bench rows under a straw canvas sun roof, a spare tyre on the bonnet, bull bar, snorkel and a roof spotlight. In a seamless 8-second loop the wheels roll and steer and the spotlight sweeps on its swivel.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Safari truck for the Savanna kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Savanna kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Golden grass and big animals. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: straw gold #d0a225, acacia green #3a883a, earth red #c32222, dusk purple #572e6b, straw gold dark #8f7019, acacia green dark #235223, straw gold light #debd63, acacia green light #5db15d, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `dryOrWetSeason` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Dry or wet season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: About 5.25 m long, 2.1 m wide over the mirrors, 2.45 m to the canvas roof and 2.81 m to the top of the spotlight. 5,424 triangles in the GLB (three-check's 5,714 includes the viewer's ground disc). Materials are named after the Savanna palette colours (acacia green, straw gold light, …) so the kit can recolour them together. dryOrWetSeason swaps the lower-body band from pale dust (dry) through dried mud to dark wet mud, and the band splashes higher in the wet season. The GLB is baked at the default params. The clip loops over 8 s: the wheels roll three turns, the front knuckles steer on kingpins through the wheel centres and the spotlight swivels on its post. The body stays still. The GLB's static node pose is three-check's t = 2 s export frame, so the wheels and spotlight sit mid-motion when no clip is playing. plan-check's part-id pattern rejects the hyphenated slug ids the library requires, so the plan was verified on a copy with the hyphens removed (PASS). glb-lint returned 0 errors and heuristic warnings only: nested parts, the 2.8× height against a 1 m reference, and one material per mesh.
About the Safari truck 3D model
Safari truck is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Savanna set. It measures 2.1 m × 2.8 m × 5.4 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 5,424 triangles across 50 meshes, with 24 named parts and a baked animation (8.0 s). Download the 570 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Safari truck 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 570 KB: 5,424 triangles, 14,514 vertices and 50 materials, modelled in metres at 2.1 m × 2.8 m × 5.4 m.
- Is Safari truck animated?
- Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (8.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Safari truck 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
