Tube houses
A low-poly row of three narrow tropical tube houses of different heights. Each has a teal roll-up shop shutter under a shop sign, stacked balconies with railings and shutter doors, and water tanks or a stair housing on the flat roof.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Tube houses for the Motorbike Alley kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Motorbike Alley kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A narrow tropical lane of shop houses. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: faded yellow #dbc970, teal shutters #2d8686, red #c32222, wet concrete #8a8a8a, faded yellow dark #ccb233, teal shutters dark #1a4d4d, faded yellow light #e8dfb0, teal shutters light #46b9b9, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `signLanguageAndText` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Sign language and text" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 11.9 m wide (x), 11.2 m deep (z) and 19.03 m tall to the top of the tallest water tank (default params). The houses are 4.0, 3.6 and 4.2 m wide and 10 m deep. The shop floor is 4.0 m tall and each upper storey is 3.2 m, so the three houses have 4, 3 and 5 storeys. Balconies, signs and street steps project up to 1 m forward of the facades. The facades face +Z, the origin is at the bottom centre of the footprint and the model rests on y = 0. The GLB has 5,024 triangles in 32 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed), so the facets survive in any engine. Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour, and all 12 kit colours are used. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. Signs carry abstract colour blocks, never real text. Windows are opaque soot black and there are no interiors beyond a shallow shop recess with a counter. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. signLanguageAndText (the kit's 'Sign language and text') sets the sign-board height (0.3–0.85 m) and its number of lettering blocks (2–6). It also sets the size of the vertical blade signs on the outer houses (hidden below 0.15). houseCount (1–4) cycles a fixed pattern of widths, heights and colours, and the fourth house uses a teal shutters light facade. storeys (3–6) sets the tallest house's storey count. The others are 1–2 lower, with a minimum of 2. shutterOpen (0–1) rolls the shop shutters up. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings: material count and duplicate materials (from the per-mesh materials), unindexed geometry (flat shading on purpose), sibling overlap (facade trims, signs and balconies embedded on purpose) and scale (compared with the direction's 1 m reference). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens that this library's slug-based ids need. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 8 survive the GLB reload.
About the Tube houses 3D model
Tube houses is a free low-poly 3D model from the Motorbike Alley set. It measures 12 m × 19 m × 11 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 5,024 triangles across 32 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 380 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Tube houses 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 380 KB: 5,024 triangles, 15,072 vertices and 32 materials, modelled in metres at 12 m × 19 m × 11 m.
- Can I animate Tube houses?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Tube houses 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
