Motorbikes

A low-poly step-through motorbike for a tropical shop-house lane, with teal body panels, a cream leg shield, a brown bench seat and a delivery box with a red sign panel on the rear rack. It has a seamless 4 s loop: the wheels roll and the handlebars swing on the steering head.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Motorbikes for the Motorbike Alley kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Motorbike Alley kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A narrow tropical lane of shop houses. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: faded yellow #dbc970, teal shutters #2d8686, red #c32222, wet concrete #8a8a8a, faded yellow dark #ccb233, teal shutters dark #1a4d4d, faded yellow light #e8dfb0, teal shutters light #46b9b9, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `signLanguageAndText` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Sign language and text" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 2.08 m long from the front fender to the cargo box, 0.72 m wide across the grips and 1.18 m tall to the mirrors (seat at 0.82 m, cargo box top at 1.12 m). The 17-inch wheels are 0.58 m across on a 1.27 m wheelbase. The origin is at the bottom centre, both tyres rest on y = 0, the headlight faces +Z. The GLB has 1,608 triangles in 32 meshes and uses all 12 kit palette colours; every material is named exactly after its colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so a name can repeat: recolour by name. The baked clip scene-motion (4 s, seamless) moves only parts on their own pivots. Both wheels roll 2 whole turns on their axles. The steering assembly (fork, front fender, cowl, handlebar, mirrors, front wheel) swings about the 26-degree raked steering-head axis, which passes through the front axle. The frame never moves. Because the axis is raked, the front tyre tilts slightly while steering, and the 16-facet tyres rise and fall by a few millimetres while rolling. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. signLanguageAndText (the kit's 'Sign language and text') sizes the red sign panels on the cargo box sides and back, from a thin trim strip at 0 to tall panels at 1, and adds 0 to 3 blank warm-white lettering bars. It never shows real text. steerAngle sets the steering amplitude of the loop. cargoBoxHeight sets the height of the delivery box. Only the default params were rendered and checked; the extremes were not captured. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings. They flag the per-mesh duplicate materials, the non-indexed geometry (deliberate flat shading), overlaps where the spine, engine and body parts are deliberately nested, and parts as 'detached' because each part's meshes sit in their own group, though they all rest on the frame or body. The verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts the real ids, and all 13 survive the GLB reload.

About the Motorbikes 3D model

Motorbikes is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Motorbike Alley set. It measures 72 cm × 1.2 m × 2.1 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,608 triangles across 32 meshes, with 13 named parts and a baked animation (4.0 s). Download the 164 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Motorbikes 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 164 KB: 1,608 triangles, 4,824 vertices and 32 materials, modelled in metres at 72 cm × 1.2 m × 2.1 m.
Is Motorbikes animated?
Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (4.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Motorbikes 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
