Fruit cart

A low-poly street fruit cart: a teal shuttered cabinet on two bicycle wheels with dark-wood legs and push handles, a stepped deck heaped with fruit, a striped red and yellow parasol, a hanging banana bunch and a price sign. It comes with a seamless 6 s breeze loop.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Fruit cart for the Motorbike Alley kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. It moves: author a seamless baked loop (2–12 s) with every pivot exactly at its hinge, axle or swivel, and keep the base still. This is one part of the Motorbike Alley kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A narrow tropical lane of shop houses. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: faded yellow #dbc970, teal shutters #2d8686, red #c32222, wet concrete #8a8a8a, faded yellow dark #ccb233, teal shutters dark #1a4d4d, faded yellow light #e8dfb0, teal shutters light #46b9b9, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `signLanguageAndText` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Sign language and text" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: the cart body is 0.88 m wide (1.07 m over the wheel hubs) and 2.14 m long including the push handles, with the display deck at 0.93 m. The parasol is 1.9 m across and its tip is at 2.41 m. The wheels are 0.6 m across. The origin is at the bottom centre. Both tyres and both legs rest on y = 0. The sign end faces +Z and the handles point to -Z. The GLB has 5,828 triangles in 36 meshes. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. 11 of the 12 are used; faded yellow light is not. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. The baked clip scene-motion (6 s, seamless) moves only parts on their own pivots. The parasol swivels back and forth on its mast top. The banana bunch swings on its crossbar hook. The price sign swings on its hinge pins. The cart body, wheels and legs never move. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the model when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. signLanguageAndText (the kit's 'Sign language and text') widens the price board and sets 0 to 3 rows of abstract glyph blocks; at 0 the board is blank. fruitHeap stacks 1 to 3 layers of fruit. parasolRadius sets the canopy size. swingAmount sets the breeze amplitude (0 makes the clip static). Only the default params were rendered and checked; the extremes were not captured. glb-lint: 0 errors and 6 heuristic warnings. Two come from the per-mesh materials (material count and duplicates). One flags non-indexed geometry, which is deliberate flat shading. One flags overlaps where trim, slats and brackets are deliberately nested on the body. One flags fruit, sign brackets and parasol stretchers as 'detached' because they sit in separate part groups, though each rests on or clamps to the deck, cabinet or mast. One flags the 2.41 m height against a generic 1 m reference. The verdict reads UNVERIFIED only because no host requirements contract was supplied. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires; with the ids substituted it passes. three-check accepts the real ids, and all 12 survive the GLB reload.

About the Fruit cart 3D model

Fruit cart is a free animated low-poly 3D model from the Motorbike Alley set. It measures 2.2 m × 2.4 m × 2.4 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 5,828 triangles across 36 meshes, with 12 named parts and a baked animation (6.0 s). Download the 462 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Fruit cart 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 462 KB: 5,828 triangles, 17,484 vertices and 36 materials, modelled in metres at 2.2 m × 2.4 m × 2.4 m.
Is Fruit cart animated?
Yes — the GLB carries a baked animation (6.0 s), ready to play with any glTF animation mixer.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Fruit cart 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
