Corner cafe
A low-poly two-storey corner cafe in a tropical shop house, painted faded yellow and open to both streets under half-raised teal roll-up shutters. A red-and-white striped awning wraps the corner over low plastic tables and stools, with shop signs, a corner blade sign, a side balcony and a water tank on the roof.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Corner cafe for the Motorbike Alley kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Motorbike Alley kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A narrow tropical lane of shop houses. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: faded yellow #dbc970, teal shutters #2d8686, red #c32222, wet concrete #8a8a8a, faded yellow dark #ccb233, teal shutters dark #1a4d4d, faded yellow light #e8dfb0, teal shutters light #46b9b9, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `signLanguageAndText` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Sign language and text" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: the building is 5.0 m wide (x) and 6.0 m deep (z), with a 4.0 m shop floor, a 3.2 m upper storey and a parapet at 8.0 m. It is 9.31 m tall to the roof tank lid. With the awning (1.4 m deep) and the pavement seating, the whole footprint is about 7.1 m by 8.0 m. The front faces +Z and the second street face, with the balcony, faces +X; the origin is at the bottom centre of that footprint, resting on y = 0. The exported model has 2,696 triangles in 42 meshes (merged per part and colour) and no animation clip. Normals are baked flat (non-indexed). All 12 kit colours are used and every material is named exactly after its palette colour; the exporter writes one material per mesh, so the same colour name appears on several materials: recolour by name. Signs carry abstract colour blocks, never real text. The interior is a shallow dark room with a counter, not a full interior. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. signLanguageAndText (the kit's 'Sign language and text') sets the height of both sign boards (0.25–0.6 m), how many lettering blocks they carry (2–6), and the size of the corner blade sign (hidden below 0.1). shutterOpen rolls both shutters up; awningDepth sets how far the striped awning reaches; tableSets places 0–4 tables with three stools each. The param extremes were checked by reading the geometry limits, not by a capture. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings: material count and duplicate materials (from the per-mesh materials), unindexed geometry (flat shading on purpose), sibling overlap (paint skins, trims and signs embedded on purpose) and scale (compared with the direction's 1 m reference). plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens that this library's slug-based ids need; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check accepts those ids, and all 9 survive the GLB reload.
About the Corner cafe 3D model
Corner cafe is a free low-poly 3D model from the Motorbike Alley set. It measures 7.1 m × 9.3 m × 8.0 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,696 triangles across 42 meshes, with 9 named parts. Download the 224 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Corner cafe 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 224 KB: 2,696 triangles, 8,088 vertices and 42 materials, modelled in metres at 7.1 m × 9.3 m × 8.0 m.
- Can I animate Corner cafe?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 9 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Corner cafe 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
