Signs
A low-poly quarry entrance safety board: a slate sign in a machine-yellow frame with warning, hard-hat and no-pedestrians pictogram plates over a hazard-stripe band, on banded steel posts set in concrete plinths with ore rocks heaped at their feet.

Left rail: colours and the 4 knobs the agent wrote into this model — they rebuild the geometry and go into your download. Right rail: looks for the viewer. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Signs for the Mine and Quarry kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Mine and Quarry kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): Rock, dust and heavy machines. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: ochre #bd8728, slate #525e6f, machine yellow #eecd2b, rust #9b4427, ochre dark #7e5a1b, slate dark #323943, ochre light #d6a95c, slate light #7b8593, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `oreColour` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Ore colour" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 2.55 m tall (a 1.4 m-high board, 1.1 m above the ground, under a rain cap) and 2.65 × 1.09 m in footprint including the rocks; the board itself is 2.4 m wide. The origin is the bottom centre of the footprint, the model rests on y = 0 on its two plinths and the rocks, and the board faces +Z. The GLB has 1,032 triangles in 19 meshes (merged per part and colour), flat normals (non-indexed) and no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after its kit palette colour, so you can recolour by name. The pictograms are modelled plates, not text or textures. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change the geometry when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. oreColour (the kit's 'Ore colour') picks the colour of the ore rocks round the plinths in five palette steps (slate light, ochre light, rust, ochre, machine yellow), the same ore ramp as the other Mine and Quarry parts; one rock in three stays slate light. signCount drops plates from the right (no-pedestrians first, then hard hat) and spaces the rest evenly. The ochre, ochre dark, ochre light and dark wood palette entries are not used at the default. The pale ground disc in the preview is viewer staging only and is not in the GLB. glb-lint reported 0 errors and 6 heuristic warnings, all expected: sibling overlap (posts sit in the plinths), 'detached' clamps, hazard band and rails that are fixed to other parts above the ground, flat unindexed geometry, material count, and a 'scale' note for the 2.55 m height. plan-check passes except for its part-id regex, which rejects the hyphens in the slug-based ids this library requires. It passed on a de-hyphenated copy, and three-check accepts the ids. Fix round 1 lightened the back plate (it read as black), seated the clamps on the rails and sank the post caps into the posts. Param extremes (width 1.8 m / clearance 0.6 m / 1 plate / ore 1, and width 3.2 m / clearance 1.6 m / 2 plates / ore 0) passed three-check.
About the Signs 3D model
Signs is a free low-poly 3D model from the Mine and Quarry set. It measures 2.7 m × 2.5 m × 1.1 m (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,032 triangles across 19 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 116 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Signs 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 116 KB: 1,032 triangles, 3,096 vertices and 19 materials, modelled in metres at 2.7 m × 2.5 m × 1.1 m.
- Can I animate Signs?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Signs 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
