Pots

A low-poly group of three terracotta garden pots on saucers: a tall banded pot with a rounded flowering shrub, a wide bowl brimming with pink flowers and a small pot with a spiky grass tuft.

How it was made

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:

Pots for the Garden and Patio kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Garden and Patio kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A back garden through the seasons. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: grass green #3a883a, terracotta #be5937, wood #7d5736, flower pinks #e085a3, grass green dark #235223, terracotta dark #823d26, grass green light #5db15d, terracotta light #d08971, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 1.08 × 0.98 m footprint and 0.79 m tall at the top of the shrub. The tall pot is 0.47 m to its rim (0.47 m across the rim); the bowl is 0.23 m tall and 0.49 m across; the small pot is 0.20 m tall and 0.26 m across. The bottom rests on y = 0, the origin is at the bottom centre of the group and the front faces +Z. Each pot stands on its saucer's floor, and each saucer stands on y = 0. The GLB has 2,968 triangles in 27 meshes. It is static and carries no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour; the exporter writes one material per mesh, so some colour names repeat, so recolour by name. Pots are closed 10-sided lathe shells with flat-shaded, non-indexed facets. season (the kit's 'Season'; 0 = early spring, 0.5 = high summer, 1 = late autumn) steps the foliage tone in three steps, swells the pink blooms to a peak around 0.48 and fades them to none at both ends, and turns the grass tuft from fresh green to straw (wood / terracotta light) in autumn. count (1–3) drops the small pot, then the bowl; their part ids stay registered as empty groups. height changes only the tall pot, and fullness scales the plants; pot rims and plants stay clear of each other across every range. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and change geometry only when the scene is rebuilt in the viewer. The defaults and both extremes (season 1 / height 0.6 / count 3 / fullness 1.2, and season 0 / height 0.34 / count 1 / fullness 0.7) were rendered and passed three-check. The viewer's lawn-green ground disc and its exposure of 0.6 are staging only and are not in the GLB. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings, all expected: duplicate materials (per-mesh export), non-indexed geometry (on purpose, for hard flat facets), overlapping siblings (shrub clumps and pot colour bands share bounds by design), and the soil discs flagged as detached, although they are sealed inside the pot walls. The verdict line reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex allows no hyphen; the same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 10 ids.

About the Pots 3D model

Pots is a free low-poly 3D model from the Garden and Patio set. It measures 1.1 m × 79 cm × 98 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 2,968 triangles across 27 meshes, with 10 named parts. Download the 233 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.

Is the Pots 3D model free for commercial use?
Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
What file format is it, and how big is it?
A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 233 KB: 2,968 triangles, 8,904 vertices and 27 materials, modelled in metres at 1.1 m × 79 cm × 98 cm.
Can I animate Pots?
It ships as a static mesh. Its 10 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
Which engines and tools can open it?
Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
How was the Pots 3D model made?
Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
