Bird bath
A low-poly cast-stone garden bird bath with a stepped plinth, a turned baluster pedestal and a shallow basin of water. A robin perches on the rim and ivy clumps grow at its foot.

The brief given to 1DesignTool's “3D object” template:
Bird bath for the Garden and Patio kit. Design it as one clear asset at believable real-world scale for that setting (state the size in metres in meta.notes), with its main parts modelled and named, readable at thumbnail size and from every orbit angle. This is one part of the Garden and Patio kit (Low-poly style, flat-lowpoly direction): A back garden through the seasons. Use ONLY the kit palette, by name: grass green #3a883a, terracotta #be5937, wood #7d5736, flower pinks #e085a3, grass green dark #235223, terracotta dark #823d26, grass green light #5db15d, terracotta light #d08971, soot black #1b1b22, warm white #f2ede2, mid grey #7d828c, dark wood #3d2a1c. Every material's `name` must be exactly the palette colour it uses — the GLB carries these names so the kit recolours as one; an unnamed material fails delivery. Kit knob: expose a param `season` (0–1, default 0.5) for the kit's "Season" setting wherever it makes sense on this part, and keep that id.

Note: Size: 0.56 × 0.56 m footprint (basin 0.56 m across, plinth 0.40 m across), 0.68 m to the rim and 0.79 m to the top of the perched robin. The bottom rests on y = 0, the origin is at the bottom centre and the front faces +Z. The GLB has 1,592 triangles in 13 meshes. It is static and carries no animation clip. Every material is named exactly after a kit palette colour. The exporter writes one material per mesh, so some names repeat; recolour by name. The stone is three closed lathe shells (an 8-sided plinth, a 10-sided pedestal, a 12-sided basin), each sunk 5 mm into the one below. The water is a closed disc whose edge sits inside the basin wall. season (the kit's 'Season'; 0 = early spring, 0.5 = high summer, 1 = late autumn) moves the ivy through three tones, ending reddish in autumn. It brings the pink ivy flowers to a peak around 0.42, floats blossom petals in spring and fallen leaves in autumn, and scatters leaves on the ground late in autumn. height and basin resize the stone. birds (0–2) adds or removes robins on the rim. Their part ids stay registered as empty groups, as do the leaves at high summer. Params are baked into the GLB at their defaults and only change geometry when the viewer rebuilds the scene. The defaults and both extremes (season 1 / height 0.9 / basin 0.36 / birds 2, and season 0 / height 0.55 / basin 0.22 / birds 0) were rendered and passed three-check. The viewer's lawn-green ground disc and its exposure of 0.6 are staging only and are not in the GLB. glb-lint: 0 errors and 5 heuristic warnings, all expected. Ivy clumps and robin pieces overlap on purpose. The pedestal, basin, water and floating leaves are flagged as detached because they are separate part groups that are seated into each other. The verdict line reads UNVERIFIED only because no requirements contract was supplied. plan-check rejects only the hyphenated library part ids, because its regex does not allow hyphens. The same plan with the slug de-hyphenated passes. three-check and the GLB reload keep all 8 ids.
About the Bird bath 3D model
Bird bath is a free low-poly 3D model from the Garden and Patio set. It measures 55 cm × 79 cm × 56 cm (W × H × D) at real-world scale and is built from 1,592 triangles across 13 meshes, with 8 named parts. Download the 124 KB GLB and drop it into three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot or Blender — free for commercial use, no attribution required.
- Is the Bird bath 3D model free for commercial use?
- Yes. It is free under the 1DesignTool 3D library license: use it in personal and commercial work — games, apps, websites, renders, ads and client projects — and modify it as you like, with no credit required. What you can't do is re-sell or re-distribute the file on its own or inside a model pack.
- What file format is it, and how big is it?
- A single binary glTF 2.0 file (.glb), 124 KB: 1,592 triangles, 4,776 vertices and 13 materials, modelled in metres at 55 cm × 79 cm × 56 cm.
- Can I animate Bird bath?
- It ships as a static mesh. Its 8 named parts are separate nodes, so you can move or animate each one in your engine.
- Which engines and tools can open it?
- Anything that reads glTF 2.0. three.js, React Three Fiber, Babylon.js, Godot 4 and Blender import the GLB directly; Unity and Unreal Engine load it through their glTF importers. The snippets above show the exact code for three.js, React Three Fiber, Godot and Blender.
- How was the Bird bath 3D model made?
- Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) generated it inside 1DesignTool's 3D template from a written brief, then the design kit's checks verified the geometry and the GLB before it was published. You can make your own the same way with 1DesignTool.
